Were 10th because.. 1. Ah Van missed a simple goal away to Catalan which in turn would of won us the game 2. Lynch had a mind explosion against Saints 3. Players 1-17 couldnt be bothered playing the second half against Leeds at Cardiff.
The reason we are where we are isnt because of our top provider its because we lack that tiny bit of quality to win the tight games. We wud be 6/7th if we had had that bit of qulaity to close and win games at the death.

Herbert for the last 2month has really kicked on, along with having elima and elliot running good lines along with Raynor chasing down kicks and running flat he has been a revalation. A half back cant be any good with out good options and early on he simply wasnt getting that. Now he is he looks a different player

Read this board every day but rarely post on topics as i dont get to many games with other commitments, but one thin that is noticable is everyones opinion on Herbert has changed now he is starting to get into the swing of things.

I think to be standing 5th in the stats for try assits (which is his job) playing in a new team on the other side of the world, having injury problems and no settled half back partner until recent weeks, plus with the team strugglin as we have is a great achievement. And testimony to his efforts to become the player we hoped he would be.

The only things i think that would take his game to next level for us would be firstly a full injury free pre season, secondly a bit more of a dynamic half partner (which jeffries seems to be starting to offer) kmaybe in the burrow mould. I do think he could be the organiser we are needing now he is settling and would be more than happy for him to get another year to see if he can progress.
