Good result considering players we have out. New away shirt sounds like a marmite one, you'll either love it or hate it.

Very good game, all the doom mongers saying we will have a beaten pack may be eating their words. Our right wing is still fragile was broken too many times for me today.

Forsters kicking was excellent today 4/4 compared to sinfield 2/5. we still try and force the issue and make a mistake like usual.

But overall positives all round, we played the champs of the pitch at times. And didint like the away shirt but it grew on me through the game. On wards and upwards bring on the bradford!

Sammut and Kearney looked good.
Scruton looks fitter and stronger than last season.
Wasn't impressed with Sidlow but won't judge him on 1 friendly.

No fresh injury concerns from today which is probably most important thing from our POV.

Decent run out from the Bulls and I thought we looked in pretty good shape overall. Plenty still to be worked on, but plenty of promise in there as well. I thought we scrambled well in defence and were pretty solid other than down the right where we seemed to tire in the 2nd half.

Sammut looked impressive and Manukafoa and Scruton did well in the pack.

I thought the away shirt was very smart and I think I will be buying one!

Very enjoyable game. Feeling a little gutted at the draw in the end. Thought Sammut was outstanding, but liked Scruton and Walker too today. Olbi looked good too. There is going to be some tough calls when the squad is all fit. (if the squad is ever all fit!)

On a more serious note... I really like the new away kit. I've not really liked any of the away ones for some time but this one is an excellent choice.

Just wish the replicas were a bit bigger. The one I got for xmas looks like its been tattooed on my body... not a pretty sight!!! Anyone else think the sizes are smaller this year?

Thought that may be the problem with isc kits, when i tried the wigan one on for my m8 it was smaller than my bulls kooga one

The Kooga ones got smaller at the end - the same time as the quality dropped and the ISC one is maybe even a tad smaller as you say. The cloth quality is no better either, and they are pretty thin, similar to the later Kooga efforts - not a patch on the earlier stuff.

Any players looking to have bulked up?

Kearney and Sammut looked bulkier than I remember last season but that could be my memory!

Danny Addy looks to have put on some muscle over the off season. Definitely stronger and tougher than last year.

Although I wasn't at the game, I'm impressed by the highlights. Our third try was excellent. I also like the new away strip.

Wakefield's Tim Smith and Andy Raleigh were both injured against Saints yesterday.

I'm not one to enjoy players injuries but them two players are quite big for Wakey so hopefully they won't be fit until Round 2 :/

They've already got Kyle Wood out.

And what a key player Tim Smith was for Wakefield last season, 34 try assists.
