The biggest bugbear in league 1 is the difference in quality between the top half dozen, who are pretty much already bottom half of championship level, and the bottom half dozen who, well, definitely aren't. The very bottom championship clubs would most definitely be in very serious danger, imo and probably wouldn't even be favourites for mine, even at home.

Really want us to start with intent this game. One of our problems all season has been slow starts and then chasing the game. We can't afford to give them a 10 point start again. Hopefully Kear has them coming out fired up!

I’m hoping we get off to a big start today and avoid any silly tactics that Oldham could potentially use to drag us into a dogfight. The last time we had a game of this magnitude we were anonymous in the opening 40 mins, massive improvement needed today!

I'm really nervous about this game today. I'm expecting a win, but preparing for a shambles where we drop everything, have no ideas and then lose by 2 points in the last 5 minutes.

Well i think Oldham have 3 props, one of which plays a lot of loose. So if we lose, then it would be up there with the Fev debacle. I said it earlier in week. If we don't get promoted, then it's down to us. Just hoping Kear doesn't try and be clever or cocky or put a back on the bench.

Stick to the game plan,complete your sets and don't give them cheap yards with unforced errors.We have the talent to beat Oldham so let's do it.

I get that there’s the bonus of big game experience, but bringing somebody back from injury in the most important game of the season is a big risk in my opinion.

Least he's not gone with one of them one the bench. Our bench will win it today IMO. As above poster said, compete our sets, especially early on. Then let the bench start punching holes through Oldham. Only way Oldham win today is if we drop the ball and give away penalties. Still would have preferred Bustin ahead of Kirk.

Agree regarding Bustin. He was excellent in the first half of the season. Not sure why Kirk is ahead of him at the moment.

Needs a strong ref today who won't stand any Oldham nonsense, and is experienced enough not to be "old manned" by what will be a likely last gasp fist fight by Oldham. I reckon we SHOULD win this easily, but won't take off the waterproof undies till the whistle goes for F.T !
