I've seen a lot of the Bulls as a neutral but unless Wakefield were playing would probably have been on the Bulls side.

I loved the awesome foursome and even more so the Robbie show.
Top moments would include Vainikolo (spell?) scoring on his last game and the Anderson hand off. But Lowes show in the World Club challenge was pretty special too.

The MacAvoy chip over...er...who was it again...at Murrayfield was pretty special. Especially considering what MacAvoy did the rest of the time...

One moment I recall occurred at the very beginning of the Bulls .
I thought the decision of Brian Smith to name Jon Hamer in the side for Wembley somehow made fans realise that the new people at the club ( Smith Deakin ET al) recognised and would reward team loyalty and were about to create something special.

I can barely remember last month, never mind all SL, but my proudest SL moment as a Cas fan (having had to check the year) was 1999 when Stuart Raper's unfancied team beat Wigan & Leeds away in the play-offs, only to lose to Saints in the semis. I can't remember what happened to Saints after that...

Can remember the 3 Saints players having their photos taken on a freezing cold day at Odsal,they must of wondered what the hell they had done at the time

I think it also had something to do with Smith's brilliant approach to that game. A mate of mine knew Hamer and he told him that Smith's entire approach to the game was aimed at reducing the pressure on the players. Perhaps Smith feared we'd get a tonking and didn't want the game to assume too much importance. And he knew that Hamer was the sort of calm presence he needed. Hamer even told my mate a couple of days before the game that we would start the game with a long hoof downfield on our first possession. He didn't know why, just that we would.

One long lasting memory for me is Peter Deakin

I knew him before he was at the Bulls, just because I used to buy my Open Rugby magazine at the office down near the bus station.
I used to always stop and talk rugby with him and Harry but not like we were personal friends.

When at Bulls a couple of years later, he saw me walking round the top end of the stand and said hello and knew me by name. That impressed me for a start.
We had a chat about Bradford and the various activities at Bradford and Wakefield. He said things were about to change. There were some moans about the "steam Pig" and the loud music they were playing for the players at the time.
He said, in a very sagely but excited way that he expected to lose a couple of thousand of the old cloth cap briggade with what he planned but would gather 10,000 in their place.
He was proved right of course and I felt he was a massive part of the Bulls growth.

Yes - just so yes...

Peter Deakin was probably the most important bit of the whole Bull phenomenon, imo. He was a very sad loss to the game.

I think he'd have been incredulous if we'd told him by 2014 we'd be on our knees and leaving superleague. All that vision eroded by so much incompetence.

From a Leeds fan my favorite bulls memory is the 2003 final. Went with my mate a Bulls fan. I sorted the tickets he sorted the transport, a bulls bus leaving from Odsal!
Me in my Leeds shirt coped loads of stick particulary on way back, but shared beers and gave it back and was a good trip. One of the good aspects of our sport. Not sure I would feel as welcome in a similar situation in football.

My favourite memory is from Old Trafford 2003.
A poor first half, we kept in touch with Deacon's boot.....
Then Stuart Reardon ran at, and dived through, the Wigan line. We were on top, now full of confidence, and Reardon was a well deserved Harry Sunderland winner.
Worst moment, Millennium Magic.

Grand Final 2001 (the most complete Bradford performance when it really mattered)
The come back away at Halifax in 1997 (first time I realized we could actually win the title and the first time I ever hugged a stranger when the winning try went in and we all just went nuts!)

Favourite moment?
Putting my "champions 1997" printed bulls shirt on with 10 min to go at the Don valley in 1997, then the final whistle, and then invading the pitch afterwards and shaking matty Elliott's hand. (I got a rollicking from my dad afterwards for risking jinxing it!!

I was working in a pub at the time and the miserable sods wouldn't let me take the day off to go to the game. I was sneaking out to listen to it in my car every few minutes. Eventually the locals (of East Leeds) just watched me in amusement as I did a little jig in the carpark. I'll always be gutted I missed that game.

Favourite moment? - Anderson's fend on Connolly

Favourite Bulls player? - Michael Worrincy

and when the police asked him to give them one reason why they shouldn't throw him out, his only answer was, "well, I've got no clothes on..", which believe it or not saved him.

Massive crowds when winning things. Small crowds when doing badly.

No wonder your club is now skint and suffering.

Bradford fans are long proven as anything but loyal.

Thanks to your superb analysis we now know we are just like any other club, and no really..we just hadn't the brains to work it out. Just fancy that eh, would you Adam n Eve it, bigger crowds when we're doing well and then they drop off when not doing so well, who'd have thought it. Worth a Nobel prize is that. Good luck with your PHD.

Yet after 6 poor seasons, incompetent mismanagement, administration twice, still getting bigger crowds than some SL clubs.
