I don't know how stupid you actually are, though the condition is clearly deep, but tbf Green did not buy any debts. That was kinda the point of buying from an administrator. Ask your dad. Anyway some of the SL clubs walked out in protest over plans to allocate more funds to Championship clubs, rather than over the structure, as I remember it. Another anyway, it was Barwick who ran the meeting to agree the structures with the clubs, it was the RL that ratified it. Another another anyway, I thought it was all Hetherington's plan for world domination.

There were a number of the club chairmen who were totally at odds to the proposals, I was told by a club chairman, who I will not name as it is not my place to do so. What I do know is it wasn't anything to do with allocation of funds as this wasn't even decided at that stage.
However I don't pretend to know it chapter and verse..who could?

I only know what I've read and pieced together over the 2 years of the debacle at the Bulls, true I have spoken to chairmen and journalists who have expressed their dislike at the way it's going in RL. Such is the cons in the "pros and cons" situation that this is the conclusion I have come to, as have many fans, otherwise the attendance figures for SL and the current championship would be less than dire?
My case rests, people will believe what they want to, and between that is the truth of the situation, I sincerely wish I felt I was wrong???

There is little chance you will get an answer to the number of chairmen as most of us are just fans and can only guess.

I work in an organisation where the management are clueless, don't communicate and don't listen. It's crap.
The club chairmen are in a similar position - so they may well be hacked off too.

If they could stop falling out between themselves and pull in the same direction - we could see some changes - but won't be holding my breath on that one.

Green bought the business from an administrator, the effect of which is the debt stays with the old company. He could have bought the whole shebang including the debt. He didn't.

It is sad to see Bulls in this position and the reasons will never be truely known. All teams seem to have been able to loan/sign players this season so how come the bulls didn't? They let Samutt and Scruton go while out of admin. The sole focus has been the 6 points and as an outsider looking in, minimal effort has been made to get a team to get the points back.

Certain fans see this as mostly the fault of external powers but my view (No doubt if everyone wasn't on a warning I would get slaughtered) the main fault lies with the management of the club. Marc Green talks well but surely this year he has been more at fault than Francis Cummins?

Sad for the fans who the club has really let down (including this year). When there was previously promotion and religation Bull fan didn't even worry if it was fair or not. But people need to accept reality, statements about the appeal been for the good of the game and dropping it soon as 6 point back are no good says it all. Has it been confirmed he has dropped this yet?

The problem is far more complex than that db. Letting players go whilst out of administration, turned out to be not the case at all, we were not out of administration according to the RFL. Believe it or believe it not the main problems stemmed from having to start from a base of nothing left in the kitty, ie no season ticket money and £650k less than other SL clubs, with them also picking up the extra proportion of that share for two years. Plus no "sugar daddy" to help bale us out, whilst living in rented property.
We don't blame every one else, and yes the fault lies with poor decisions in the years from 2006 to 2010, it's a sweeping statement to say the blame lies elsewhere, just as it's too simplistic for someone to say, just get over it and get on with rebuilding...the people who attempted to save the club, were well meaning and did their best in very difficult circumstances, let me put it into context: If you played out every game of the regular season as a SL club. Knowing that whoever the opponents were ( home or away) they would share your lost revenue of £1700 per game and they also would be getting a full share of the SKY compensation money, amounting to approx. £24,000 more than your team were getting per game (ie nearly £26,000) would you be totally happy and just accept it, and move on???

I understand all you say, but the stock answer from you board was "No one is available" rather than "with funding as it is we will have to get by with what we have got".

The choice seems to have been don't accept it and don't move on. The new owner knew what he was signing up for and I would expect he met with the RFL and the coach to dicuss what was required and sadly for you he has failed to deliver that. I can see cut cost but I can't see if he invested for the future. I fear that the new owner is no better that the old.

When the Ricahrdsons left Wakefield after year of running the club our new chairman was seen as a saviour and did more damage in one year. I'm not saying your in the same boat but let see what team he give Jimmy the resources to put together. Good luck and no doubt we will be meeting in the middle 8 league next year.

My personal guess is that the court case will quietly disappear into the sunset but it's a shame as it would have aired some rather dirty RFL washing. I know a few club chairmen will be disappointed if it does die a death. One consequence of nobody ever following through their allegations against Red Hall is that the incumbents are left to continue to run the show, and the seemingly widespread discontent about how they are doing it is just left to fester. But hey ho, nothing the fans can do about it so that's life.

It begs the point that MG feels that there is more to it than just the 6 points, which at the time of the appeal was likely to not make any difference anyway..however something does make a difference with his stance...something akin to what was said and who said it, and who believed it, at the time it was said, by a person who said he didn't say it anyway? Not sure I could sort that out.
Time will tell us once again, whether we will move on in the right direction. However it's a big ask, and the RFL have lost another big chunk of their "attendance figures" to persuade the sponsors that the game is worth sponsorship in the future..with London--Sheffield- and Bradford in the championship this will be a population in excess of 2 million who won't boast a professional SL club in their catchment area??? Who next Leeds, as the population is over 600k.
