I thought we were meant to be better playing the 2nd half down the slope. Even allowing for unfortunate injuries we appear short in quality and ideas.

Questions need asking in my opinion though. Massive squad, not used, no attacking skill whatsoever. Decion to let Chisholm go needs explaining. I see we conceded a try whilst swapping our hooker for an 18yo full back and couldn’t get organised quick enough, no surprise there!

From the commentary it sounded like the interchange was being made whilst we were defending. Is that the case?? If so it sounds like lunacy to me.

Whilst Kear is in charge we’ll never be attractive to watch, his brand of Rugby is boring, lacking ideas and attacking wise is well, just lacking.

We’ve got a couple of lucky wins when we actually started to throw the ball around, unfortunately that isn’t Kears game. Chisholm was always going to boss this game.

equal 9th best attack with swinton ... i know this year is about consolidating but surely we can throw the ball around more, we dont have anything to lose. We arnt gonna be promoted or relegated this year so at least have a go surely

Not a good game to watch today. Too many errors and wrong options. Must be hard for the players though with the late drop outs and people in different positions I know Flanagans just coming back from injury but his ball distribution was terrible. Half backs can’t play when the balls are coming from all over the place - and when he gets near the line he has try line fever, even when it’s the wrong option! Hallas was great but kept holding his shoulder - maybe carrying an injury. Gutted about Green for next week, don’t know who’s gonna fill that role? Also, I keep harping on about Woods defence but every time he goes off the line collapses in the middle! Dunno who Kear will drop and who would come into the team for next week instead?

Based on today’s changes expect to see Rickett replace Green

Despite everything we were well in the game after 50mins then we seemed to stop playing.

Losing Green was a blow as we were already light on the bench. Why Stephenson was 18th man I'm not sure. Garside or Bustin would've been a better choice.

Featherstone weren’t even that good. The amount of unforced errors they made isn’t going to trouble Toulouse or Toronto.

That last 20 minutes though was embarrassing.

Featherstone is not a happy hunting ground for us. We always seem to underperform when we play the Rovers at their place and yesterday was another poor showing from the Bulls.

Chisholm was either going to be anonymous or the star of the show. Fev were also after revenge for the CC comeback win and we never really had enough to match them.
