Ferguson was an absolute beast tonight. Gaskell had his best game in a Bulls shirt. Leeds looked lost without Sinfield and Peacock. Time for the old guard to step aside?

TBF Leeds fans were queuing up the excuses all week with how weak a team they were putting out. We can only beat what's in front of us ( and that's ignoring us missing Kearney, purtell and diskin)

One measure of Jimmys effect is Adam Henry's missed: made tackle ratio, which was about 30% when FC went, and over the last few games has been as low as 10%, a massive turn around. What is it down to - more organised defence, better tackling technique, a whole team that wants to play not just one or two?

Spent most of the season being pretty unimpressed with Henry, but these past few weeks he's come on leaps and bounds. His offload has improved and defensively yesterday he was very good. Hope we can keep him now, whereas before wasn't fussed either way.

As above, think he would be a good player in Championship

Beating Leeds is always good and it doesn't matter about who was in and who was out [as I'm sure it wouldn't to Leeds fans had the result been reversed- as pointed out up the thread, our squad was depleted before we played a game.

Apart from Henry, other notable improvers since Lowes took over are Gaskell, AOB and Sidlow. Green must really regret not taking the decision on Cummins after the Easter disaster shows against Leeds and Wigan

jimmy obviously looked back through the archives to that poster (start of last season?) that reckoned props were no longer needed, just loads of back rows, and decided a ball playing LF was the way to go.
