| The RFL have history of this type of stuff, 2 years ago they let Fax submit an application for SL, let it go through initially without reply, then when it came to the crunch suggested it was too unproffessional and lacking in detail to be considered

| Quote ="Bullnorthern"Marc Green has said he has no issue with the independence of the panel. It's also implied that the costs are not being borne by the club.
The panel promised a written record of their reasoning behind the rejection. That has obviously been delivered to the RFL and it is that body ( not as far as I can see ,any reluctance from the panel) which has refused/ declined to publish even a summary of the hearing.
Presumably Marc Green (and his lawyers)has a copy and this will form part of his application. Whether this first hearing will allow publication is not known.
The use of the word "sensitive" is intriguing.'"
Logical argument Bullnorthern! However didn't Marc Green imply in his statement, that he hasn't seen it either?
They are treating it like the "Chilcott" enquiry into the Iraq WMD situation??
Certainly us older supporters feel a bit like the poor sods who were shot at dawn in the first world war, for being shell shocked. ie made an example of, by a group of Generals who had lost it completely, but were determined that someone needed to be shot, because an example and a message had to be sent out to the rest of the army??
Extreme analogy but, it's the inevitability of the situation that is hard to stomach.
They (RFL present Hierarchy) will still feel they are the good guys, and the firing squad is being assembled as we speak???

| When the original decision was announced, the RFL website statement said:
Quote The RFL says the independent sporting sanctions appeal panel will hand down a full written judgement within the next 14 days.'"
It sounded a bit pompous and overly legalistic at the time, but hey ho. Nevertheless they chose to use the language of court, and this term is used in courts where a judgment is reserved. Usually a draft is circulated, which cannot be disclosed to anyone else, so the parties have the chance to read, digest and in some cases, have corrections made (or even the judgment reversed if the judge has got it wrong!).
But the date for "handing down" simply denotes the day on which the judgment is formally final, and becomes publicly available.
There is nothing in the statement even hinting that this decision would remain secret and I am flummoxed as to why it would be so. In the unlikely event that it did contain some highly sensitive information (wtf??) then I suppose those few words could be redacted, but not the whole decision!
The facts will surely out in the High Court litigation and whatever has been said I would suggest it is 100% impossible for the Bulls not to have been given a copy. The desire for secrecy in itself of course spawns and feeds conspiracy theories but clearly this is more than a conspiracy theory as we now know for a fact there's something in the document that somebody does not want the public to know at this stage.

| from the bits Ive been told by friends at the RFL,
The Bulls arrived for the initial hearing and submitted their case which was summarily dismissed by the Independent Panel because it lacked substance, detail and any form of a case that required the 6pt decision to be reviewed.
Rather than completely dismiss the Bulls out of hand the IP gave them extra time to come up with documentation supporting a case that deserved consideration. The Bulls returned with little more than they had arrived with at the first attempt and the case was considered but it took little time for the IP to turn down the Bulls appeal.
it seems that the RFL are now trying to save the Bulls blushes after Green made such a loud noise about the strength of the case only to be sent packing after being told they'd wasted everyones time and money.

If they withhold the information then Green carries on to the High Court. And you think that scenario is saving blushes? Wow.

| Aha. I can do this too! This is kind of like the Pelican Brief. So if i'm not heard from in the next few days, its because the RFL have set their goons on me as I'm hitting too close to the mark....
So, in the absence of any information or transparency but in the presence of hearsay & 2nd hand gossip, here's what I think happened.
The Bulls were taken aback at how narrow the parameters were that the independent tribunal had been told by the RFL to hear the appeal.
The tribunal were operating on A (administration happened) - leading to B (6 points deducted)
So the tribunal said - right, prove A was force majeure.
The Bulls said we can't. But we can prove that C,D,E & F, which all led to A happening were force majeure.
The panel said, "sorry, the RFL won't let us independently consider C,D,E &F. So have a nice day. You'll have to take it to court to get C,D,E & F looked at. But that'll give the RFL time to shred documents & delete the email trail. So you're stuffed either way"
I made that last sentence up by the way!
The End.
Any good?
It's just what I heard

Wait a minute. So, they summarily dismissed the case. And also rather than dismissing it at all, they adjourned it. That IS a good trick. The Schrodinger's cat of results.

I'm glad you have revealed that it was in fact turend down, because those pesky liars at the RFL, aided and abetted by the press, have been saying that in fact the appeal was NOT turned down, it wasn't even considered. Until Mavis's revelations, we had all assumed that when the reports said:

... this meant that the Bulls did not meet the criteria to even have their appeal considered.
Silly us.

Well, it seems that way to you, so that's one person. If there is anyone else out there who supports the quaintly barking theory that the RFL is " trying to save the Bulls blushes" please make yourself known!

I was visiting the mother-in-law at a MH facility yesterday evening. As I left, she paused her rocking motion just long enough to scream "The RFL are saving the Bulls blushes", spit flecking on my face like the pitter patter of demented rain.

| quite simple....Solly and Rimmer dropped a bollox and agreed with BB2014 that they could buy the club on a pre-pack and suffer no penalty They didn't even check how the buy out was to be funded, Big Nige had to agree to it and didn't like what he saw (apparently buying the club with it's own money and wanting longer for the Sky money that Dick Turpin had requested to be deducted). Then the fun and games started and the RFL laying a smoke and mirrors trail to throw people off the scent

| Against the wishes of the Chairmen of the clubs. Who are now, if not supportive (HKR & Salford) ,are at least neutral to the Bulls Court case going ahead.
Thereby affecting a change of leadership at the RFL, without getting their hands dirty.
See, it all comes together!

Indeed, I'm glad I'm not alone in detecting secret patterns that few mortals have seen.
The main protagonist in the Da Vinci Code is of course [size=150R L[/sizeangdon.
Rolf Harris is a very thinly disguised metaphor for the twin horsemen of our apocalypse, RFL and Harrisgate.
But the RoLF reckoned without Green (another barely disguised reference to Dan Brown). For Priory of Sion read Independent Panel. Opus Dei is a blatant coded allusion to Nigel Wo OD.
Astonishing. But will we get the Holy Grail?

As no one knows what happened, I don't know if what you are saying is broadly a correct guess (or even insider info), but am I right in thinking, and may be one of the problems, that Marc Green had a part in C or D (or maybe E or F), before he took ownership?
On a general point, aren't all administrations force majeure, basically things happened that were beyond the control of the owners; e.g., HMRC changing tack, image rights policy refined, not as many fans, etc. Businesses go bust because things happen that they can't control.
I suppose the one thing about all of this is that it is hard to properly judge until we look at it in hindsight. If it turns out that the Bulls were misled or whatever by the RFL, and generally messed you around, I suppose hindsight will judge you harshly treated. If it turns out that they didn't, then Marc Green's approach will just come across as empty gestures. The worrying thing maybe is that his desperation to succeed might mask his real intentions come relegation; i.e., bale out.

The avenger presents the case for the defence, whilst also giving his version of the case for the prosecution.
perhaps his name should be, confused dot com.
It does leave a vaccuum somewhere, whereby anyone who is outside the lofty Halls (red) must live in, because they spend money and time employing a legal team, who prepare a draft on a ciggie packet to put to those venerable gentlemen, who then have a jolly good laugh, and send them packing?

This could be that you're so worried about the bulls you're now talking foolish gibberish or your real intentions have become clear after a cock up; i.e. poor attempt at trolling

Or are people suggesting he's pushing in order to expose the RFL, and as a consequence get a change of leadership? Cos I'm buggered if I get it!
