I'll trust Brian Smith's judgement on just how awesome he is. Comes across as someone who started to believe his own hype. He's not the player he was a few years back, for the money he'd likely be asking I doubt he'll give value for money.

seriously doubt mason would get a visa given his indiscretions. and nice as a big prop would be, we'd be better served by someone like paleasina who doesnt tie uo a massive chunk of salary cap or a quota spot. We need to be spending available funds and quota spots sorting the halves and backs imo.

Completely agree, they are welcome to him. For the cap space he'll demand I'd rather the feka rumour was true. We know he's settled in England, we know what he's capable of in the ESL and will probably demand less money for relavtively as much impact.
