Not necessarily. think we were looking at KP as a backup option for ainscough/raynor. We still have that role to fill. Think we'll see 1 more back and 2 forwards coming in personally, with maybe one or two fringe players going.

Much more positive than I anticipated for the replacement of Gareth Raynor. If we can just afford a couple more quality additions in the right areas then we might begin to look a useful side.

All gone a bit quiet on the rumours of Sykes and Platt being told they didn't feature in Potters plans.

Kear is a pretty good player. When he first came to Super League he was fairly skinny and got bashed about quite easily, but he seemed to put some muscle on in the last off-season and now looks like a Super League standard winger.

I'm pleased and excited about signing Kear.

Over the moon with this signing. Have seen some of the stuff this guy can do (in attack and defence) and i think a run of games he really could be something special. At 22 he has got bags of potential and i really think he could be a star.
