And looking at signings so far Im pretty confident that there will be a reversal in the respective form of cas and bulls. Cas's recruitment so far has been poor to say the least with several of their better players either leaving or retiring. Has a the look of a club preparing for the championship to me, although the same could be said of wakey.

He's young, on a longish contract and they've just got big money for Westerman and lost Evans and Shenton. They also got Sherwin off the wage bill last season. This is more unlikely than Kurt Gidley.

I agree with all of that, unfortunately. But I repeat my last point, Chase would likely have the choice of a number of clubs so why Bradford?

Sounds a good deal I guess. Biggest caveat is that the poster is one 'bradfittler' who doesn't have a great track record of being right with previous rumours. It is always possible that he's got some info though, it is a bit specific with talk of loans and medicals (though I'd guess that was standard anyway). Given the current squad it would solve our major problem; the lack of a stand off, and we already have three hookers and can afford to lose another forward to gain a half, so I'd take that to be honest.

I'd sometimes pop in to Substandard and say that yes, indeed, I too had heard something to back up what WM had said - and that folk would do well to listen to him. And more than a few on there listened. And, after all, why wouldn't they? WM was almost always right and was clearly in the know...wasn't he?

And yes he is. But don't let the fact he plays for Cas jaundice your irrefutable view.

He isn't. Both Chase and McGuire are quality players; Chase is far more creative, McGuire is a great try poacher. Both miss a fair number of tackles and make a lot of errors.

Neither are world class IMO.

He was the first to post (anywhere that I saw) about McNamara leaving.
