I don't really have a problem with you posting on here, it's just your arguments with FA get a bit frustratin when they take up the whole thread (I'm sure that is understandable??) and they may be better placed in a private conversation. (I'm not the one to judge though, that's down to the mods)

Might I suggest you ask FA to stop posting? Differing opinions don't seemed to be well received on here these days. There is downright bullying of ME and I have come in for unwarranted abuse and name calling. That is frustrating.

Passions were always going to run high because this was a pretty crucial game for both sides. Leeds had their own reasons for needing the win but I suspect Bulls fans will always feel the defeat that bit more keenly because of the club's more precarious position - no backer and none in sight, a stadium redevelopment that is touch and go at best, plus a need to appoint a head coach in a competitive market.

A win in front of a crowd that probably contained more than a few lapsed fans could have helped toreverser a worrying slide in attendances. As it was, we have a game that tantalised with how it could have gone our way before beggaring off towards Pudsey. And I think those floating voters would have been happier with an inferior performance that resulted in a win than a superior performance that resulted in a defeat by a Leeds side somewhere near their best.

Bulls should take heart that they can live with Leeds, but take note that they need a fair following wind to seal the deal. I hope they get that win this Sunday, a big opportunity to impress on national TV and potentially be a ame against Catalans away from Wembley. Lose that and it's an uphill struggle to make this season one in which the definite improvement on the field has such impact that even Eddie and his ilk on the T&A board can't ignore it. Too many loudmouthed donuts are going round Bradford saying Bulls are useless and not worth bothering with. Shame the job of shutting them up wasn't done last Sunday, fingers crossed for this week. Can be done, doesn't mean it will be done but can be done, as the Leeds game showed.

Lets have a look at the facts again shall we?

We have had a brilliant comeback win v Wigan which has papered over the cracks again this season so far but we made up for that by blowing it against Leeds at Headingley when we should have won.

With the exception of Saints and Wire, we have not been given a pasting but with the exception of Hull KR, we have not dished out any pastings either (Challenge Cup against lower league sides does not apply!) However the Crusaders result at MM tells its own story.

However - a bit more telling is the results against the teams we are supposedly competing with at the important end of the league. Lets have a look at that eh?

Hudds (a) L 24-12
Saints (h) L 38-6
Wigan (h) W 22-20
Wire (a) L 33-8
Hull FC (a) L 18-6
Leeds (a) D 20-20
Leeds (h) L 26-12

3 points out of 14 in the big games is definite improvement? This still suggests that McNamara still cannot perform in the big ones which is something I have said for long enough.

So we can beat Salford, Hull KR, Quins, Wakefield, Crusaders (once!) and Catalans? As long as that is the level that we are looking to operate in then I guess that me and my T&A ilk must be shut up but the above results show that the people of Bradford may well just have a point.

And the Leeds game at the weekend showed what exactly?

Those stat's don't make pretty reading for Bulls fans and the 3 points gained were not easy (By 2 points). Saying that Leeds haven't faired much better against the big boys.

Last season we lost to all of Salford, Hull KR, Wakefield, Crusaders and Catalans. This season we've shown we're better than those teams. This is reflected in our improved league position. Apart from the Murrayfield glitch we're performing better than last year against the lesser sides.

Of course we've struggled against the bigger clubs but if you look at the squads on paper in comparison with our own you can see why. On some occasions we've improved too apart from the Saints debacle at home. What do you expect from this squad? I said at the season start that 5th would be the best we could hop for. What do you think?

I think you need to give some credit for the improvement that's taken place. Few teams go from where we finished last year to top 4 and so to do as well as we have is pretty good, especially when you compare our spending power with the likes of others. The club's had to put a limit on spending and this means we're lacking a bit of depth and class but that's not the coach's fault is it?

God are Leeds fans still posting on here it really was their cup final on Sunday wasn't it?
