You know, I just don't buy that. They made a promise. All be it on the insistence of the RFL and they should honour it. I've had enough of failed promises, I've had enough of paying twice and the simple truth is, if I don't get my cash back and they let me down, they've had it with me. It could take months to get the cash back if at all - how long do I wait? The home games start in just over a week. It'seems beyond poor at this stage.

| Anyone struggling to get money back should send the Companies House link for the Bradford Bulls company in admin to their card provider. The claim should be simply under non-receipt of goods.
I got my 3 payments made for membership back after 2-3 weeks. (4th wasn't taken)
And yes, I was gonna try and blag a freebie. Free stuff is free stuff!

| Halifax refunded mine straight away but warned me they (BBNL) had 45 days to challenge the decision from the date of refund.
That gives me 14 days left on the challenge period... Do I gamble?

Oh, and for those of you that have had a CC refund from your bank you might find that this is only temporary until a final decision is made and can be reversed
I have been a regular supporter from pre 1963, seen good and bad administrations, but this is probably most blatant lie I have ever come across.
I can not and will not support yet another administration that I do not trust.

| People who pre purchased tickets by CC are being given replacement tickets by our new Club. If those people subsequently obtain a refund from CC company and DONATE to the Club an amount equivalent to new ticket face value, surely this donation would be VAT free and thus be of greater benefit to the Club? Or am I wrong?

| What seems to be the case is that several people have reported that they've successfully claimed their money back after plastic payments. Which is as the rules seem to be.
So why if you can claim the money back, should the new administration ALSO give you a free ticket?
Forget side issues such as how communicative or competent they are etc., surely only those who paid cash and have actually lost out should in fairness be considered for a freebie?
I can appreciate that there are a host of card providers, and they will all deal with claims in their own way, in their own time, but that isn't the point at all, and it isn't a problem created by the new administration.
Even if they made a clear statement that anyone having bought a season ticket previously is entitled to a new one, that cannot in fairness include people who are entitled to a refund, as once their refund comes through, the end result is ultimately they bought nothing, and lost nothing.
So let's have a bit of fairness. We all (I hope) want the new club to succeed, and I don't see how ripping it off and making yourself a nice little earner (freebie ticket, then a refund of prior payment) is going to help.

RickyF1 - My 45 days isn't up until 24th Feb, the Halifax put a credit on my card 45 Days ago but only received the money back on the 9th Jan. I am going to gamble and go buy my new set of STs today.

They don't know that though. These are separate banks with their own rules about what the criteria are[seemingly. Even when the money is given back it is still subject to being re-taken for two months afterwords. It's a fair amount of money and I'm concerned that if I don't get it back [or it's re-called I'll be left high and dry.
Not sure what to do to be honest and I may as well take it as a good reason to give this year a miss - paying C£400 to see us get stuffed every match isn't really an offer that's not to be missed. I'll possibly change my mind, but people who make statements about "[iall[/i season ticket holders" and then renege on it with less than a week before the season starts aren't people I'm totally happy doing business with.

| I got mine today. I mentioned re-paying and they were reluctant to take any money. So upshot is once I know I have the money back permanently I'm letting them know and I can look at sponsoring something like a door handle for the amount I'd spend. Or I could wait until 24th when I know I am safe and put it into the RAB player sponsor pot.
Something to think about if we are serious about putting the money back in?

| We got our replacement tickets yesterday, is appears there is now a policy to honor these if specifically asked. We always intended to repay the cost of the new tickets out the Bank refunds when/if they come. Quite a few people we know, or have contacted us, are like minded.
The last thing we wanted to do is shortchange our beloved Bulls.
Management might/should be looking at a mechanism to receive these monies in a way that benefits them as VAT and Tax free income. Donations etc.

Well said. I am with you on this which is why I raised the possibility of donating.
I have made a claim to CC coy for 7 tickets which is pending. I have received from the Club some replacement tickets, 5 actually of which 4 were cheaper and one dearer than originally paid.There is no equivalent of the other two tickets which were Flexis for 2 Grandchildren at Uni.
My claim to CC coy may succeed. If it does, I intend to donate the face value of the 5 tickets to my new Bradford Bulls Club to ensure they are not out of pocket.
If my claim is unsuccessful then I am out of pocket. Hope FA doesnt get too upset about supporters trying to do the right thing.

Top man. It would be nice to think anyone getting a freebie AND a refund would do the same. FWIW I reckon pretty much all on here would, but I suspect there's many that wouldn't.

| Latest news I have on this is that, according to my bank [Yorkshire bank, some customers are saying they received an actual physical ticket FROM THE OLD CLUB, and if I have one it should be taken back to the club. The club say that THE NEW CLUB have promised to honour the season ticket part of the old membership. This doesn't tally with my experience as, when I handed in the old receipt with the seat number on it, they simply charged me for the ticket.

Suspect people saying they received a physical ticket are talking about the receipt, that's usually printed on a ticket blank, that would have been exchanged for the plastic card at collection event which never happened.
