We (Hull KR) did it the correct way, we had to work hard to get back to the top, and we had no hand outs (the RFL did not buy our ground).

Actually, we had £1.25m MORE equity, since the lease was not in the accounts anywhere as an asset, and it would have had zero value on insolvency so the bank's story as it stood never rang true.

Well how nice that the fans don't recognise the fact that when the request came out a lot of people from the rugby league community put their hands in their pockets- If that's not taking handouts then I don't know what is. I began to regret my generosity just afterwards when we had the rubbish thrown towards our club regarding incorrect information about ticket sales. Some of you would do well to recognise that if it wasn't for the generosity of people also outside the bulls also then you might not be in a position to be so ungrateful about it. Please show some humility- you can bet that any rallying cry will be largely ignored of it should happen again. And as far as I'm aware the majority of Wakefield debts were paid, they bit the bullet and sold some assets. I do know I have read and listened to interviews our board are cutting the cloth so we don't end up like the bulls and if other rumours are to be true the millionaire egyptian is going to be taking over, rovers will go back a couple of seasons to be able to go forward and I'm all for it
