Perhaps not when you were *pipping us to trophies, but I generally want to see Bradford win when they aren't playing Leeds, especially as I'm originally from Bradford. I still believe the 2003 Bulls are SL's best GF winning side. Don't tar us all with the same brush.

If I was you lot I'd want Wigan or Wire to win based on number of SL titles. Currently:

Saints 5
Leeds 4
Bulls 4
Wigan 2
Wire 0

It would be quite funny for Wire to stay at 0 for another year given their fans have them down as some sort of modern day Invincibles despite never having even reached a GF, let alone won one.

Aye, Saints and Leeds number of titles makes it impossible for me to support either. Wigan are my second favourites but I can see myself regretting it when I think back to the period 88-95. As for Wire, they may be set to win the title thanks to a bunch of third party payments off the salary cap but they won't be the first to win it by going over the limit, though it would be funny to see them not win it given the money spent.

In order of preference:

Joint 1st:
Leeds - Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Yorkshire
Warrington - Good to see a new name on the trophy
Saints - Still producing top quality young players without the hype of a Tomkins.

Despite shucks of recent money and supercilious current supporters, I remember their supporters in past years as the most passionate and vociferous at any match and keeping up chants in and out of a stadium. Not winning a Cup didn't faze the passion for their team.
I think they have the same monkey on their back at the moment that we did at one time. They need to win a trophy to step up to the "We have done it" level.
Sadly I think they may loose out again to Wigan

I don't understand why a bulls fan should be shot for backing a yorkshire underdog. This isn't football where all anyone wants to do is have a punch up with the opposition. We have a great family friendly game, I enjoy going round headingley for a few beers with my bulls shirt on after a game, bit of banter but no hastle. In rl derby matches are on the field and that's where it should stay, hating a fellow group of rugby league fans is a bizarre concept IMO

Leeds for the Yorkshire side but Saints for the way the youth have some through (similar to Leeds a few years ago dare I say?). Either way I'm not overly fussed.

I'm loving the threads on both Wire and Wigan boards about how it is a "disgrace" and an "embarrassment" to the game to have 3rd v 5th in the GF. But they are not bad losers at all, they make sure they say so at every opportunity.

It's frighteningly embarrassing. The arguments are spurious at best. How much back slapping would there be if either side made it from 5th or 3rd - never hear the end of it. Phil Clarke's parting would be all over the show and he'd be whipping out all kinds of statistics about random shizzle.
