Seem to remember after we hammered Hull KR at home last season the week before Murrayfield (so two weeks from this point in the season) and pointing out that we only needed 3 wins from the entire second half of the season meaning Bradford were virtually as good as in the play offs.

Believe me it is one hell of a collapse and it doesn't feel good either. In fact I remember actually feeling relieved when we were mathematically out of it.

Not that I can see that happening to Cas though this season. Play offs yes but not in the top two IMO.

"Thin squad"

This is the biggest squad we've had for seasons.

We've had injuries already to McGoldrick, Hudson, Snitch, Jones, Walker, Owen, Widders. Isa has been suspended and was in reserves for first few games

Then we still have to play:

And injuries to youngquest and fozzard.

Thats 10 different played we have lost at different time through the season, so we haven't exactly been injury free and have still one well.

At the moment we have youngquest, isa, mcgoldrick, walker injured.

With snitch,thompson, jones, davies, massey, milner as well as some more promising academy kids sitting on the side lines.

I can't be bothered to do the numbers but Cas must have had as many new players this season (including kids) as Bradford but have not needed half a season to settle in. I think the difference is we have a cracking pair of halves who have played nearly every game.

Chase and Orr are a great combination. Cas weren't as threatening when Orr had to go off at Odsal. If they can both stay fit Cas are certs for top 8, even top 6.

I like the look of Milner, Arundal and Clark too. They've all done their bit in my fantasy team!

Where you getting half season from? its only been 9 rounds?

They don't need to count for themselves in Ilkley.

They get their accountant to do that for them.

That was my estimation of how long Bulls fans would make excuses for. Perhaps you can tell me how long you are giving your new squad to settle.

Aslong as it take, if we make the play offs this season il be happy.

A full fit new squad to pick from would be nice.......

Accountants are just there to fiddle taxes so we don't have to subsidise the working clarsses. Our children to our counting, it's cheaper.

Surely you would not want the children learning bad habits like...actually doing work??? Can you imagine little Tarquin strolling down The Grove telling his pal Algernon that he had actually done some WORK yesterday? How could you live with the shame? And knowing that even the Butler was aware of your disgrace?

One would surely have presumed that that they would have worked out from an early age that menial tasks such as counting could be devolved to their governess?

Hmmm get very shirty when people question them don't they Cas fans. A third of the season and they are now one of the big boys. Remind you of fans of another club that hasn't won ought for donkeys years?

Cas never have been one of the big boys & probably never will. I am content to see us occasionally punch above our weight. The expectation is much less on us, so we don't have come up with fresh excuses for underperforming like our smug big city neighbours.
