| Quote ="Bully_Boxer"On the whole it wasn't a bad performance I thought. We had spells when we looked useful and played some good Rugby, I particularly enjoyed the tries from the Menzies break and the lovely bit of centre play by Nero for Semi's try. But those silly errors in the 1st half cost us dear and probably took the game away from us.
I thought Burgess looked a little flat which was a problem because we struggled to compete with Saints big men. We still lack that impact prop that we can bring on from the bench to lift the side like Maurie and Puletua did for Saints.
On a positive note I thought Deacon showed glimpses of his old self without ever fully imposing himself on the game. I thought Nero carried on his excellent form and looks to have formed a dangerous partnership with Semi.
I don't think we learnt anything we didn't already know though today. If you make mistakes against a Saints team who in form, then you're unlikely to come out on top. It is hard to look past Saints for the trophies this year from what I have seen so far.
The lads now have to find some energy for the short turnaround against Leeds on Friday. Looks likely that we will be without Rinaldi and Morrison for that match too. With only one hooker available we will need top class performances from BJ and Deacon if we're to compete.'"

What's up with them? I wondered why Morrison didn't come back on.

Well I don't have the medical knowledge of Stevo but Rinaldi was a leg injury of some sort but he was walking on it by the end albeit struggling. He didn't look like someone who could play on Fri though. Morrison looked to be holding his ribs?

| It was allabout the bench for me today:
Roby v Rinaldi
Faasavalu v Kopczak
Puletua v Worrincy
Clough v Whitehead
The biggest difference between the two sides was the periods when Saints could bring on a new international front row whereas we had youngsters (whose time will come) and a journeyman French hooked who suddenly looked well out of his depth.
However, that apart our pack bossed the first half hour, our back line looked solid (other than Menzies who had a bit of an off day), Deacs had his best game in months and I do think that Whitehead is looking really quite useful. But not to be today....

| The saints try that was given by the IGJ from being behind the sticks looked a try to me I(Although u may call me biased) i cant comment on the bulls one being at the other end of the field. At the end of the day the 2 in goal judges had the best veiw of it so how any one can argue against them i dont know. Though the bulls showed in patches what they can do i just think we had the power off the bench when Maurie and Tony P came on we seemed to just get on top.

You are biased though?
Why did it look a try? Because it nearly looked like one, but just was not quite?

| The coach lost you that match with an appallingly negative decsion that imo showed a complete lack of faith in his players.
Im talking about when after Saints had conceeded 4 penalties on the bounce and Bradford players were wanting to tap and go, the coach sent his man on with the kicking tee and said take the two.
You could see Deacon shake his head and some of the players look up into the stand as if to say " you are kidding"
The Bulls team that had been full of confidence had the mental stuffing knocked out of them by that lack of trust.
Saints meanwhile took heart from the fact your teams boss clearly didnt think you had it in you to score trys. As a result we then started rampaging through your demoralised side.

| Scruton had a good game imo, If we play error free like we did in the first 20 we should put up a good fight against the Whinos.

I thought he was holding his arm. It looked like a break tio me and he knew about it straight away.
Overall I thought it was a good performance from Bradford. Saints scored some good tries and they were the best team I've seen this season.
As for the ball handling errors both team seemed to be at it the error rate in total must be sky high.
The scoreline isn't a true reflection of the game as I thought we certainly gave them a game. Saints in full flow are a joy to watch.

It was the wrong call at the time I reckon. As for the rest of it.. are you for real? You actually believe that is where the match was lost?

Scruton was good. He really took it to them. Lynch was too. But then he is the world's best prop.

He was sat on the bench at the end. He didn't look overly distressed.
But then he is quite hard.

Well I thought it was his left wrist again as he was holding it up but then he swapped it and began holding his right arm to his rib area. But like I say, I'm no Stevo.

| Well, I'm not going to comment because I saw the first 20 minutes and then the floodgates opened. So in reality, I saw the decent part.
I spent the next 60 minutes receiving phone calls from work because I was on call!
