I thought I might get over the initial dread of playing Leeds on Fri, but I still feel slightly sick at the thought. If we drop off the tackles and get 3/4 scores behind I can see the a lot of the crowd turning on the team and the Macca quite vocally.
I'd love to see us put in a real determined effort and give Leeds a real good game, but I just can't see it happening right now.

Ten minutes? you like to live dangerously. Maybe if we were 30 up in injury time, we might assume the game is won.....only to concede 5 converted trys and a DG in the last minute!!  |

I was working on the possibly naive assumption that we'd make at least SOME tackles in each set, but that Leeds would score of each set and we'd not touch the ball in the last ten other than to kick off.
But OK, if our defence collapsed again so much that they just ran right through us to score straight from receiving the KO each time, maybe you have a point... |

If Deacon plays Leeds will run straight at him. Sherriffe and Deacon dropped. Menzies & Jeffries in Halves, Platt still at FB, Halley and Semi on the wings. Id have Donaldson or Whitehead on the bench instead of Deacon
