and the police dogs. They were very popular with the crowd. I've never seen that kind of crowd reaction for dodgy singers.

They used to have a karaoke van up by the Rooley Lane terrace on matchdays, many a classic performance could be seen there pre-match!

| I've just been looking at Hull FC's ebay shop.
Perhaps it'd be a good idea for the Bulls to have one too.
It'd be a lot more visible than the official online store which is not exactly high tech!
They could use it to sell the normal range of shop goods. Each one only needs a photo and the items are easy to set up and manage. Customer payments are easily handled through pay pal and ebay deal with time wasters through the points system where bad payers are shown up as such.
Hull sell one-off items through theirs. Ex players shirts and special offers and all kinds of things. It could be a real money spinner.

| I've been meaning to ask for some time if there's any reason why we can't have a cash machine at Odsal.
I know there have been security issues before but I think measures have been taken to sort that out and anyway it could go in the ticket office or something. The nearest cash machines are at Morrisons or up in Wibsey (There's one in the All Days shop on Odsal road but it's rarely working).
Pubs and shops get ones in which make a small charge of which the host gets a cut. Also people spend more money if they can get cash.
I'm always running short of cash on match days and I'd use it for sure.

| As well as potentially showing the U21 games before the main event - how about "Bradford Schools Cup Finals"?
I remember (granted about 15 years ago now) playing on the hallowed turf for Buttershaw against St.Bedes and getting hammered.
I'd just started getting into playing / watching rugby (as I was a footballer) and it helped get me hooked.
There must be a good 4-5 age groups (circa under 12-18's) where a cup competition can be run (maybe by the Bulls) with the finals at Odsal before a game.
Parents of the finalists are sure to come see their kids play - maybe getting a few to come back in the future after getting the bug?

| We booked a box in the Coral stand for the Warrington game for my Mums birthday.
The whole day was fantastic and they even got some of the players (who weren't playing!) to come and have their photo taken with my Mum (and Bullboy too).
The only down side was the cost.
I wonder whether the club have considered giving boxes to non corparate parties at a reduced rate.
I appreciate they want to fill the boxes with peolpe paying full money, but I rang a couple of days before and got a box and it never looks full up there.
So maybe they could say: 2 days prior to a game the remaining boxes will be sold off at a discounted rate.
You would probably have to limit it to once per season or something to stop people doing it all the time.
It would certainly get potential new fans through the gates. Of our party of 10, 6 don't go to games and 2 had never been to a rugby game before.

It probably made it worse because I thought it was £350 "all in"

You're right there, and the club do read this thread and the others.
By the way did anyone notice that the PA sound was turned down in the main stand on Sunday? Were you able to hold a conversation without yelling?
Also has anyone had a look at these? My soundcard has packed up so can't listen, are they any good, sounds like a good idea:

| Why does the official site never say what time the gates open any more. With the times changing quite a lot at the moment and the u21's moving about it's not easy to work out.
I like to get in early to watch the game on the telly in the big tent.
There are always more people there when it's advertised properly so please let us know what time this starts. Thanks.

| The sound system is a total embarrasment to the Club. I hope Peter Hood was suitably cringed by it when he used it for the farewell to Les, enough I hope to kick @rs* and get it sorted. Apologies to Ryan in advance if it's his butt that cops it!

| Why no halal food sold in the stadium?
I was very hungry Friday but not able to find any food that I could eat. No surprise that my community is not represented at Odsal as it is in the city.

Baked spud with cheese/beans/tuna?
That said a decent curry stall in the ground would be very popular I reckon.
Great avatar BTW.

I'm Asian so I'll obviously just want to eat curry?
I am just as much a proper Rugby League supporter as anyone else, why isn't there a halal friendly meat and potato pie, or burger that I can enjoy while watching the game?'"
The problem is that the food outlets, to the best of my knowledge, don`t belong to the club but are concession holders. Basically they pay for a spot and bring what they think will sell, which means that some of the more esoteric stuff is unlikely to make an appearance. It`s the common denominator approach and most people don`t actually want halal so it`s unlikely to make an appearance, after all stadium food is pretty basic at the best of times.
If you know any halal food traders maybe they would put in for a concession at the ground? It would obviously be a risk but who knows?

It was fine on the popular side. Must have been a glitch somewhere on your side.

| I loved the proliferation of wild flowers around the stadium on Sunday. For next year could we have a few more please? Poppies are always nice and of course match club colours. You could include some yellow poppies too and it’d be lovely.
The banking between the Coral stand and main stand is a great location for a floral clock. Obviously they would have to be bedding plants to create the maximum effect.
Mrs Riddlerbull and I were discussing it on Sunday and she suggested a floral scoreboard. Think about it, it’d be unique and would give the stadium a classy look.
