I don't think the concerns expressed above are about a poor sense of humour or wishing to censor relevant issues. It's about being posters being wilfully corrosive and it's working.

Regular posters are now saying they don't trust Whitcut and won't buy a season ticket. Whatever the circumstances behind the sale of the club I've not seen one piece of evidence that Ryan Whitcut has paid thruppence for a tanner bus ride, let alone be called untrustworthy on a public forum. What has the man done apart from try to manage balls ups not of his making?

Unless someone comes up with evidence that Whitcut hasn't paid his bills, is disqualified as a director or committed some crime then it's out of order and is now damaging the club's efforts to sell season tickets - which is clearly the intention.

I'm afraid if anyone is not buying a season ticket on the back of what Gutter has said then it says more about them than it does about the troll. As it is, those on here who have stated they don't trust Whitcut seem to be fairly strong minded individuals, so I don't think your post has much credence. Not that I will be buying a seson ticket now you understand.

I've absolutley no idea. I don't pay that much attention to what's going on behind the scenes. I've no idea who Whitcut is, apart from he is involved with Khan/Bulls as a director or something. I'm pretty sure most Bulls fans do though.
It's not exactly as if Gutter is putting out his views as straight, serious fact. His chip on the shoulder style should lead the reader to question what he says. Just as they should question blind faith.

I've already bought my season ticket, but if I hadn't, I wouldnt be buying one this week, and it has nothing to do with gutterfax. (i dont like the way he and others seem to be enjoying our clubs troubles but there are issues with our club to be addressed.)

The rfl have pubically raised the possiblity of our super league place being taken by a current championship club in that t&a piece, and our new owners have yet to convince the rfl we are a sound enough option for 2014, why would anyone buy a season ticket until thats sorted one way or the other? Its the club itself in the change of ownership and the rfl thats damaging the club in terms of season ticket sales etc - not an internet forum.

Don't get me wrong, I'll support the team regardless of what division they're in. But I don't want to pay Super League Season Ticket prices for a Championship 1 side. Or worse, pay the price for a team that no longer exists and that money disappears into a black hole.

Once they're ratified, I'll be up to the office to buy my ticket. But I don't want to risk that money right now when there's a doubt, and that has nothing to do with who is or isn't taking over.

Exactly, and hopefully everyone who has (quite rightly IMHO) put a purchase on hold will simply get on board once its sorted, so in a best case situation it should just be a question of timing as to when the season tickets are sold.....im trying not thinking about worst case yet

The RFL wanted shut of us in 2012 and to award our place in super league to a club with a post office sized ground. Unfortunately for the RFL but luckily for us the other super league scuppered that idea, which left them with major egg on their face. So this time round we are been used as a pawn in the war with the super league clubs.

My issue with Whitcut is that he’s often been quoted as saying one thing in the press then subsequent events proving pretty quickly that it was inaccurate. The latest example was the “business plan” being completed and submitted and us waiting on the RFL. That wasn’t the full picture, and I suspect charitably that he was naïve if he thought that that’s all it would take for the new owners to be approved, less charitable posters might say something else. He also blotted his copy book when he “forgot” to pay that tax bill earlier in the season, then there was the business about players getting paid late. I get the feeling he’s fire fighting on behalf of Omar Khan. I’d rather he be up front and honest so that any subsequent problems don’t come out of the blue and ruin chances to build trust.

Another example was the second time the players weren't paid on time. Everyone was keeping hush, but there were rumours and hints that it had happened a 2nd month on the trot. When asked about it, he said everyone was paid on time. Then when the deal was announced to take over the club, it was mentioned (by him I think) that there WERE issues after all that second time, but they'd been sorted now.

It's that sort of conflicting information that makes you not trust someone. While I'm not going to sit here and slate the guy, as I don't know him and don't know enough about him, you can understand why people are very sceptical about it when that sort of thing goes on, and it looks at least from a casual point of view, like they are being less than honest.

In fact, we currently have no debts, not overdraft and the assurance that we will be in SL next year with the backing of David Hughes, even if no other investors can be found. This is the same Mr Hughes who invests heavily expecting no ROI or even ever to see his investment back. Remind me again about OK and the fact that the new owners owe him a million or so quid.....
