I mean pack would still likely be manakafoa, diskin, sidlow, olbison,whitehead, murphy. it is the bench where we could -if we borrow a prop/winger play, addy at loose with bk and sammut halves and foster back to fb. long stints for mana and sidlow by look.

Saints have perry, hohaia and wellens out to my knowledge so they have problems too.

Walker is hopeful of being passed fit but Langley is set to be missing according to the T&A . If Scruton escapes a ban and Walker is fit, all we have to do is bring Donno in, or one of the Dewsbury props.

Think problem with that is dewsbury aren't going to loan us any of their first choice players. They'll make available what's left after they've picked their strongest 17. And that's assuming the partnership means players are able to move both ways which hasn't been clarified afaik. Think it may be a case of us having to take dewsbury players on minimum one month loan rather than week by week dual reg arrangement.

We're always in with a chance, but in the absence of the first choice we really do need Kearney in the halves with Sammutt. I'm sure there must be a reason for the coach to put Danny Addy in at half, but I confess it's beyond me.

I ment as that in my head, before the season started i had teams we could beat and teams we wouldnt. Sts and Hudds where in my cant beat column, but as we have seen Sts are there for the beating. Never ment we couldnt but i didnt think we would.

Agree with that. Not a big fan of Addy in the halves, although TBF his kicking was improved at the weekend. Just seems to take wrong option with ball in hand a lot. Would prefer Kearney there in Gales absence although means lightening our pack by playing Walker or Whitehead in . Seeing as O'brien seems to be going ok at Dewsbury could we maybe try recalling him to partner Diskin and move Lestrange up to Loose. Seem to remember we had a few periods in games last year when L'estrange and Diskin were both on pitch at same time and it caused havoc for opposition. Obviously L'estrange hasnt got the same physical presence as Walker but makes up for it in skill.

Also think Kear needs to improve defensively as teams are targetting that side now. Suspect if things carry on the way they are it will be kear making way for purtell once hes fit to resume.

If Chev says he's OK to play then that is fantastic news. He's been one of our best players in the opening three rounds. If would be good if Langley is fit too but if he isn't then I guess we'll bring Donno onto the bench.
