Given that it now turns out that it's a man in a suit and not a real Bull couldn't we find a replacement. Reardon or Sykes for example, or would they not relish the extra involvement.

For it to be good news, it has to be either Langley or Beaver IMO. The retaining of Sheriffe or Worrincy wouldn't be good news to most and I can't see many getting that excited about Koppy or Crossley (for which opinion is divided on whether they should be retained or not).

It's either those, or one of the promising young lads not out of contract (Whitehead/Donaldson) has signed a long term deal.

Unless of course it's "Glenn Hall has signed for Cas". Which should please quite a few.


If I were the person making the announcement, I'd be tempted to do a fake one first and say something like:

"It is with great delight that we announce fans' favourite Michael Worrincy has signed a 4 year contract extension".

Then wait for someone to kick off or walk out, before doing the "only kidding, it's Langley really".

I admit it would lack class a little bit and would be a kick in the balls for Worrincy, but it would amuse me.
