Wakey start playing above the rubbish they are and now you start piping up. If they were as rubbish as normal you wouldn't be on here so head back in your hole as it won't be long before wakey are clinging on by edge of teeth again. | Bar Sheffield, all the bottom eight have a similar record. It's not inconceivable (especially with reinforcements) that the Bulls could beat them all, allied with a win or two in the remaining regular league games, and the entirely possible scenario of one of the teams above the bottom two going into free fall, they could stay up easily.
Not saying that will happen, but staying up would not be a sporting miracle. Lose against Swinton and I'd say would be miracle territory.

| My god SOME bulls fans think they have a Devine right of top flight rugby.
If you stay up fine but if you go down and then the rfl save you that is wrong.
Look at football with rangers, they broke the rules and paid the price, just because they have a lot of fans they didn't get saved.
If hull kr go up maybe Leigh or Widnes may come down and both them bring very good followings so the championship would survive.
This whole "the game needs us" thing from some Bulls fans is starting to get a few fans backs up.
Yes you have a good fan base but it don't mean the rules should get changed

Top 8 / Bottom 8 split part way through season.
Bottom 8 play another 7 games each, after which the "top" 4 of those have a "Shield" competition of Semi Finals and Final.
Top 8 play another 7 games each, after which the 1st place team gets promoted. 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th have a playoff (Semi Finals & Final), the winner of which also gains promotion.
Has that changed?'"

I really hope it happens, because it would be compensation for being FORCED to play in the Championship to suit the RFL, not what the new club would in normal circumstances be required or wanted to do - start in Championship 1. It sorted out a lot of problems for them such as fixtures and attendance at the MW. Hull KR three times in a season. So them sorting out the problems they caused - 14 points deduction, central funding deduction, no season ticket money, etc is very reasonable.

The away following in the championship is none existent too so I can't see how being relegated will make any difference on that front. Even the "big" local sides like Dewsbury only brought a taxi full. Even less from further afield - Halifax for example, even though Greater Manchester is less than an hour away!
Anyway we shouldn't have been relegated from Superleague as the game needs a strong Bradford. We are really a superleague club in the wrong division. That's a little treat for anyone reading from a Wakefield pit village who is aged about 38. You can hear him ejaculating from here.

| Frankly I’m past caring what division we’re in next year. Que sera. As for what fans of other teams think I couldn’t care less about them either. After what we’ve been through I’ve lost all faith in the “RL family”. With every setback we’ve had people telling us how we’ve been specially treated. If we go down we’ll still have people telling us we’re the RFL’s pets so they can promote us directly to SL or the bloody NRL and I’ll welcome the whingers on here if only to say I don’t care what they think.

It's nothing to do with the Bulls. The RFL put us in CH with -12 to save the sorry backsides of them selves and the rest of the bankrupt clubs in the CH. Had we been put in CH1 we would obviously have got promotion and so would be playing 2018 in the CH. If they change the rules then they are just righting the wrong they have already done.

| I must be in the minority in this league wanting Bradford to stay up although I guess they have not painted themselves in a great light in this division. It was nice to see a decent crowd down at the Shay yesterday and good to see more Fax fans than usual. As has been said the Championship will survive without them but clubs will lose out and have to cut their cloth accordingly. If the RFL are going to save them though they would have to announce something very quick as it stands wouldnt Bradford have to win something like 6 out of 10 games to even stand a chance of staying up?

And that would be with the other teams above us not winning any. (Unfortunately they have to play each other in the Shield so that won't happen)

I don't think we are as valuable as what we think, certainly be missed, but not as much as we think
Anyway we won't be getting relegated, Mr Wood will make sure of that'"
you would have had to bring over 2,000 fans to swinton for them to make that much and the attendance in total was 1193 when you played them, even if it was all bulls fans and no swinton fans that's still way short of 40k, when they played hull kr attendance was 1375

Perhaps he was taking beer sales into consideration. We need to drink a lot of beer to get through a match.

I also think there was an element of 'They may get their act together and challenge Toronto for auto promotion'. Now that would never do

| I have seen a number of posts here and there which refer to the RFL saving the Bulls by changing the rules. It amazes me that anyone of sound mind realistically thinks that the RFL would change the structure just to save the Bulls. If the structure change happens then one of the consequences may (or may not) be that the Bulls are not relegated i.e consequence not reason. It seems that paranoia is rife.

If you dig really, really deep,"some", Bulls fans (and even "some" Fev fans) quite possiblly think the moon is made from cheese. It doesn't make any difference because it doesn't change the facts and the facts are that the big majority on here (which I'll take as being representative) wanted to start this season in Champ1. Quite truthfully, I've not met a Bulls' fan who wanted to be in this division after the winding up. Though, yeah, I'm pretty certain there must be the odd one.
It's disappointing not to be an asset to this division (though I think our fans have added significantly to the coffers), but starting on -12, with no team, no kit, no money, no training ground, and all to satisfy our 'saviours' the RFL who couldn't be bothered to draw up a different fixture list. Remember, the RFL decreed all this - even picking the owners who appear to have had the least money of all those putting in for the club [iand[/i fixing a -12 penalty (even though some creditors have been paid back), .
If we finish up back in this league next year, again at the whim of the RFL, you can bet your life it won't be for [iour[/i benefit.

| I may be wrong, but i'm sure i read somewhere that any proposed changes are being instigated by the clubs and that the RFL is reluctantly going along with it.
So if we are still in this division then it will be because the clubs voted for the proposed changes and not because we are the RFL's pets. It's been pointed out on here many times, if we are the RFL's pets then what would it be like to be their enemies.

That's what makes it quite funny (and yet a bit pathetic) when we get supporters of other Championship teams on here lecturing us about how we shouldn't be in this league, and deserve to be relegated to Pennine League Division 4
It's YOUR Chairmen who are most likely going to be lobbying and voting to keep us in this division...
