| Interesting article which throws up all sorts of different scenarios. I think the positive is that the silence has been broken and theres seem to be some degree of transparency coming from the club.

| Season ticket sales are delayed due to the planned move as they were due to go on sale last week. From what I understand option 1 would be Park Avenue

| Dewsbury or an adapted Horsfall would be my votes for a ground share. Be interesting to know whether the sudden departure of Irvine has damaged our links with BPA or not? Decisions will need to be made quickly though if they plan to start launching season tickets in the coming weeks.

| Tbh a move to be dewsbury would be a bridge too far for me and I wouldn’t be attending games anymore. Probably same for park avenue. Both say we’re settling for being a championship club long term. Much as I hate vp at least it’s SL capable. Think charmers is doing city trick of threatening to leave get a rent reduction but not sure it will work as land value is worth far more than our rent and think both council and reflect would both be quite happy if we vacated.
Notice he doesn’t mention the missed cup gate payments to other clubs.

| Reading between the lines, thenRFL recently announced losses for the previous year and are looking to offload some assists to counter that. I feel that off the back of that Chalmers is trying to get the lease back from the RFL at a knockdown price.

| I don't think a move to anywhere other than VP suggests SL isn't a target. And to be honest, I think that target is still some way off and probably unhelpful to keep harping on about. I don't know for sure but my guess would be that VP would be the most expensive option. Clearly a lot going on behind the scenes and plenty of hands to be revealed. Odsal is coming to the end of it's life in it's current form and I think most people accept that now.

| Well it looks to me like Chalmers is doing what Chalmers does. Ever since he came in his modus operandi has been to not over promise and to cut cloth accordingly. He's continuing that task with the serious consideration of a move away from Odsal. It's interesting how he's said that many have tried and failed to make Odsal viable (or words to that effect). It must be a very difficult place to financially manage effectively.

| Even if it's only brinkmanship, at least he's finally saying what many of us have known for a long time - that Odsal is killing this club and we need something to change if we want the club to survive. I might be wrong but I can't recall any of our previous owners being so clear cut about the subject - Marc Green in particular was adamant that the club would never leave Odsal and stubbornness like that never works in business.

Not gloating at all, just saying what more than one of your own supporters has said on this very thread. Bulls are taking the proverbial and bringing the game into disrepute. When my club refuse to pay out other clubs share of gate money, don't pay players wages, rip off their own fans I will say the same about us. Enough is enough!

You seem to know a lot more about the situation at the Bulls than we do. Maybe you should clarify your points with some further details and then we might take you and that chip on your shoulder a bit more seriously???

Bradford didn't pay out the share of gate receipts to Leeds and Halifax this season.
Bradford have been late in paying their players wages this season.
Bradford are the club which failed to honour the bonds that their own fans bought in good faith. If you don't know that then yes, I do know more about the situation at your club than you. Care for a chip?

First point - the players have never been paid late under Chalmers
Second point - Matt Shaw tweeted that it isn't uncommon for CC gate money to be take out of Central funding and is quite commonly agreed between the clubs. This maybe the case, maybe its the case that it wasn't agreed at all and Bradford just expected it to be taken out of Central funding whereas Fax didn't.

| Probably he was referring to the 25 year season tickets Hood sold? I think the 5yr ones were honoured (because I had one of them) although it was just the tickets you got, none of the fancy extras. But the 10 and 25 year ones, not many were sold so I thought everyone was individually contacted and deals struck.
Chalmers has paid the players on time (as per contract) since he joined in 2017.

| Switching central funding between clubs by the RFL is very common. It wouldn't surprise me if Hudds are having £10k per month taken from their funding & given to us for Olly Wilson over the next 10months.

Sorry but your answers suggest you know f@@k all about the Bulls.
1. The gate receipts were asked to be paid out of the central distribution. This has been confirmed as being quite the norm and at no time did we ever refuse to pay out what was owed. I'm afraid you are incorrect in your assertion.
2. Bradford have not been late paying wages this season. They are paid on the last day of the month which is in their contracts. I know this as my family sponsor one of the players and they confirmed that this was the case. What made the situation known was a certain gobe formally with us who has a personal gripe with the club spouting off mistruths and out and out lies. Again you are wrong sir.
3. If you are talking about the 5/10/25yr season ticket deals that were sold but not honoured by the administrators, that was back in 2012 (7yrs ago). There have been two admins and a liquidation since then. Don't think digging that one out counts really just like it wouldn't be fair to remember all the small businesses that lost money from unpaid bills by Huddersfield back in 1989 and 1992 would it??
4. Having worked in Huddersfield for many years, I cannot remember ever coming across a decent chippie at all. If you know of one I might take you up on a bag and some scraps some time.

Aye, lol!
Most RL clubs have at some time had cash flow problems, trouble with creditors, even the tax man. The bulls though excel in this and continue in the same old ways. This arrogance is astounding and one of the main reasons your club is so well liked. I do however agree on the Huddersfield fish 'oles.

Yeh the 5 year ones were honoured but I know the longer ones weren't. Thankfully I decided on the 5 year option!

TBH a move out of the city would be a very dangerous thing to do unless there was an absolute cast iron guarantee it was temporary and even then we've seen that go wrong before (2002).
As for Horsfall if it could have its capacity increased to something in the region of 8k with some proper plan to increase longer term to 15k then that would be ok with me. Fact is we are a Championship side and it will take a few years before we're consistently challenging for promotion. Sustainability is key.
VP is a ready made SL standard ground but I can see it costing a lot in rent, something we already have a problem with at Odsal. It's also very unpopular with a proportion of Bulls fans and away fans hated it last time around.

| Oh dear. After what has been a thoroughly enjoyable season, I had, after relying on "tri-pass" tickets this reason, resolved to purchase a season ticket for next. Not too sure now, especially if we move away from Odsal. Being a City fan too I have no problem with VP but understand why others dislike it and it would probably be a very expensive option. Never been to Horsfall but it sounds pretty poor. Living in Haworth I wouldn't travel to Dewsbury. Might have to be Cougar Park for me

| I don't think we'll move out of the city. I think it's just Chalmers using it as some sort of leverage in maybe wanting the counci l to sort something out regarding Odsal. Same way Michael Carter did with Wakey. Every year Wakey were moving to Dewsbury and Wakey seemed to gain some sort of small win from the threat as despite the council semmigly being D! Ck$ regarding their stadium, they didn't want them to leave Wakefield.
Personally think VP is out of the question unless we're in SL due to rent and it being unpopular ith the fans. Hoesfall has potential and could be beneficial both clubs working together.
Clubs are struggling financially even in the riches of football so working together makes sense.

| Id hate to see us move out of the City boundaries Bradford should play in Bradford. How about a temporary move to the north of the city and share with Keighley.
Id much rather that than going to play in Dewsbury
