Did you miss the sarcasm? Meaning we are the Club that signed Worrincy and Sherrife and then gave Sykes and Sherrife extended contracts. Our best Players have come through the Academy this year but our Coach has been reluctant to play them, preferring Worrincy, Reardon and a few others....For the last 4 years he has been determined to prove his signings will improve....Still waiting Steve...

Addy should start at 7 next week and let L'Estrange and Wagga rotate the hooker.

| Addy strikes me as more suited to the backrow or loose forward. He's a pretty hefty lad to be playing Scrum Half. I don't doubt he could do a decent job there for us in the short term though.

| 1 - Addy - what a performance!
2 - Kearney
3 - One from Platt Lynch (still not fit?) Koppy (improving!) Langers (all effort) & Nero (two good tries). Close, but Platt edges it I think. He's taken the "most improved" player slot without a doubt.
147-Worrincy. Patience lost. Taxi.

Nah, you don't need to sell your soul to the dark side to accept that the force is not with that one, no matter how hard you might have willed for it to be so.

Not in any way Worrincy or Sykes (redeemed himself a bit in the 2nd half but was truely awful in the 1st)

| Addy - excellent footwork for a big fella. Natural 13
L'Estrange - bar the brain fart play the ball at the end, still the most direct player in the side
Kearney - one of the few to engage the opposition with every carry
For the record, I think blaming Worrincy for any part of yesterday is pretty average. Sure, he's no Sam Thaiday, but given the excessive abuse he seems to gather, can't think it will be helping him. At all.

Can't see the legs in that rumour.
1. He is under contract and Leeds wouldn't pay a fee
2. Bulls would be unlikely to deal with Leeds given the current resonance for their financial situation
3. Rhinos have Ali, Eastwood, JJB, Ablett, Clarkson, Kirke, Pitts who all play second row. An 8th would seem a tad giddy.
4. He isn't better than the first 4 above and Clarkson and Pitts aren't far off.

| I'm worried about this rumour given some of the things previosuly mentioned to myself and Peter Hoods willingness to seel our best and homegrown players over the past 4 seasons.
Why wouldnt Leeds pay a fee? They arn't skint are they?
Bulls are not known for their stockpile of pennies, I would imagine they would listen to offers and every player has his price.
Ali wont last much longer, Beastwood will be home soon enough, EW has the required potential to far exceed JJB's level ability, Ablett is looking good, Kirke is the Pitts and havent seen much of Clarkson.
Maybe not at the moment, but he will be better than most of those.

Not skint, but dealing with the Bulls for player movements could be a stumbling block both ways.
Ali has just signed another year, Eastwood will go nowhere and is arguably best import in the league, JJB is consistent "Mr Leeds", has won 4 GF's, Ablett vastly underated; Kirke isn't great but as a cheap option does a job. Pitts and Clarkson both young with bags of potential. Again, 7 SR's, why would they add another?
Again, can't see the legs in the rumour and hope that remains the case.

| Whilst I am not one to criticise stay-away fans, you do get what you pay for. It is all very well having a go at Hood for being a 'selling' chairman but lets suppose on our present crowds we are running seriously over-budget; let's pretend that for some reason i couldn't possibly think of, we still owed a certain club (eg leeds Rhinos) a lot of money. What if a deal was proposed whereby we would no longer have any repayments to make?
Horrible to contemplate, but financial realities must be faced.

Why? If one wants and one needs then there will be no hassle?
WoW, Another year for Ali. Eastwood will be home, be surprised to see him sign another deal with Leeds. JJB is consistent, no argument with that, however, he isn't the greatest and all teams are or should be looking to make improvements for the future. As I said I like Ablett, he's made massive improvements and will be a really good player for a while to come. Pitts is mediocre, EW has far more potential, Kirke is just plain bog standard aswell.
Maybe 7 SR's now, but that doesn't stop teams looking to the future and EW certainley is one for the future. Not saying it's going to happen by any means, just that I could see something in the rumour, but I certainley hope just like you that it is just that.

Absolutely. But then wouldn't that then require the purchasing club to then place a value on the player akin to what perhaps they may allegedly, be already owed?
And what if said Chairman of the purchasing club would rather take the high moral ground merely in order to ensure the selling club suffered further?
And what if the buying club felt their squad was strong enough to win the GF for the next two seasons without the addition of an 8th second row forward, albeit a talented one?
All conjecture of course and if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle.

| Addy... top call here, great performance and should have stayed on longer
Kearney...Again an attacking and defensive performance to worry the oppositon
Langley... Short call with notable others, Nero, Platt, Whitehead, Lynch, Lestrange, Kopchak, who did enough not to be on the loosing side.
