Having now seen the replay of the Scott Moore incident on the old Sky+, I'm not convinced it was actually that bad. It was a late challenge and deserved a yellow, but he doesn't catch him with an elbow (it's his upper arm that connects) and I'm not convinced it was deliberate.

I agree with both...the hair pulling was daft and the Scott Moore incident looked a lot worse at normal speed. I thought he led with his elbow but as he didnt there wasn't a lot wrong other than it being late. The biggest idiot award goes to Sykes for the stupid sin-binning.

moore's challenge,although late was not malicious or cowardly,he simply committed himself to the charge down and coulnd't really stop himself

tadulala on the other hand COULD have stopped himself pulling a fellow professionals hair, and yes eorl has long hair but that doesn't give someone the right to try and drag him around by it.

I generally agree with that. I don't think Moore was completely innocent as I wouldn't exactly say committed, but it was nowhere near as bad as first viewed. He could have not done it though, so a yellow card was the right decision.

And I agree about the hair pulling. However anything more than a 1 match ban is going way overboard. Pulling hair, while obviously something you shouldn't be doing, isn't really that dangerous. It's stupid to make it a "worse" offence (in the eyes of the RFL) than some of the stuff that get small bans. It does however need something doing to stop it happening in future, so getting off without even a fine would also be wrong.

Erm but it was intentional. Look let's be honest he wasn't aiming to charge down the kick it was a deliberate attempt to knock the stuffing out of our playmaker. Players should be allowed to pressure the kicker by closing him down and attempting a tackle or raising their arms in a genuine attempt at a charge down. I am certain that Moore's only intention was to get his shoulder into Deacon. I reckon it is something that should be penalised and in this instance the correct decision was made at the time.

Pulling someone's hair when they were running would be extremely dangerous and would merit a 4 match ban. This was at the lower end of the scale but coud result in a ban to set an example

It was not good sportsmanship and a dirty tactic that just fired up a dejected Huddersfield side. Could have cost your team the game because Bradford are known for chucking away games when in front.

Four matches would be slightly OTT but he should have been off for it during the match and I think deserves a fine and a one match ban.

I'm astounded no further actions been taken towards Scott Moore. I know he got sin-binned for it, but are you telling me Scott Moore's blatant late hit on Deacon warrants as much punishment as Sykes not giving the ball back (which I accept was a yellow card, but when you compare it to Scott Moore's actions, its quite farcical.)

This is the problem with these boards because you have significant posts to your name it seems that it entitles you to belittle or rubbish new posters comments! ie dismiss them as trolling or whatever they say as irrelevant.

Anyway as I was about to say you highlight in your earlier post high tackles, laying on etc etc presumably you were'nt accusing your own team of those offences?. I guess its hard to see every incident from behind the sticks.
