I got custody of him when he was 6 and for the majority of those years I brought him up on my own. I do know if I hadn’t of got custody of him, pretty certain he wouldn’t be where he is today, even though I say so myself.

I know what it means to him to play for the Bulls, it was his dream. Regardless of what was my dream, this was his dream.

Re the first half of your comment, we agree with you wholeheartedly.

As for the second half, we are sure that RD/EM can make up their own minds. With respect 'mumby' it's not about what we need or a perverse desire to make 'claims' appear genuine. This is a very serious matter. We are genuine. RD/EM will likely get things sorted without involving us, or liaising with us, and we hope so. EM is one of the many victims who are already known to the outside world. That said, and has been alluded to by many on the forum (and elsewhere) there may well be more, possibly a lot more, news and and details of alleged victims/ folk who have lost out, to follow.

That said, as public spirited people and Bulls fans we know that there is a bigger picture here. We agree with many of RD's sentiments and consider that what is needed is for the truth to come out, backed up by robust facts/evidence, and thereafter for the club to be stabilised, to prosper, get a new stadium (or return to a revamped Odsal), and ultimately get back into SL, or alternatively be offered the opportunity to join an expanded SL structure. That may be achieved by the new consortium, but given what we know already, and nothing against CB and others, we sense that such a truly positive outcome appears to be unlikely.

As for what is known already, well as said previously watch what happens over the coming days and weeks. We do not have a crystal ball, but our instincts tell us that a dramatic change of direction and ownership is required for the club, all with the cross party support of the Council. We are now certainly confident of the latter.

A community stadium with 3 shares, for Bulls, council and BPA if they wished (bit like the Huddersfield original stadium model) would be a good option

I suspect you are no different to his brother 'Anyone' in hoping that 'S.O. Else' is going to install the club in new premises.

The council has no money since, after the reduction in monies from central government, they are juggling the figures to just pay for statutory requirements, let alone build grounds. Without commercial backing that is a non-starter, I'm afraid. Of course the council has other things it could offer, like land, but that too must come at a price, or some attached commercial deal, in these straightened times.

Maybe that 'commercial' helping hand is you? Oh Jeez, I hope you're not the front for some hedge fund.....we definitely wouldn't be amused at that!

Really hope that there is a positive outcome for Bradford Bulls from all this. It is the players and fans I feel sorry for. Being a Fax fan I have seen a fair share of turmoil over the years!! Whilst we may have a rivalry between our clubs as near neighbours, at the end of the day we are all part of the RL family, and I hate to see any club struggle.

Third option is Russ or new owners "find" an account with the exact amount of money in it, say "there it is", silly us, apologise profusely for the administrative error and give the players the option of having their money back (if they sign a letter withdrawing from the scheme) or having it put into the pension scheme, thereby putting the players back into the position they would have been in and making it difficult to prove breach of contract.

That's all I can come up with, but I'm a cynical chap.

You are right; the Council has no money, but others do. Nonetheless, a new Bulls stadium, or a refurbished multi-purpose Odsal needs the full cross party backing of the Council. So as for the Council, it's not about the money .... it's about offering the strategic and community support that we need. That said, 'we' are looking to help the Council recover a significant sum of money that may have been mislaid in relation to our club in recent times due to yet another, presently not disclosed, alleged 'administrative error'. Hope that makes sense.

As for hedge fund investments. No Bulliac we are not 'hedge funders'. We'd say that such funds are more associated with Brexit, than the Bradford Bulls, or Odsal lol

Another issue to throw into the ongoing debacle. A reliable source has informed us that some money the club was meant to pay to a 'forces' charity may not have been paid. [uIf[/u true, that may be yet another example of poor business management at our club. Moreover, we are fully aware that sadly there are more 'issues' to be unearthed over the coming days, and weeks. It really is a shame, but we are where we are, and we respectfully maintain that proper change is needed; not just another consortium who in reality may be unduly influenced by the same alleged puppet master who was in 2017 - and up until recently - an advocate of our New Zealand friend. For legal reasons we mention no names in respect of an alleged puppet master, and may we say that it would be best if forum members also desisted from such (potentially libellous speculation. We can leave idle speculation to the pubs and other social get togethers. In effect surely by now it is high time for the Bulls to move onwards and upwards, We fear that unless proper new blood (and significant funds) are not provided then we may for umpteenth time just end up going onwards and sideways, and then in due course fall off yet another cliff.

The Bulls has regrettably become a laughing stock and somewhat of an embarrassment to Bradford Council. Let's put things right.

Simple answer to that is not allowed, the Pensions regulator will still be all over you - you also conveniently ignore the growth of said money that should have been invested, my personal pension has shown growth of an average 15% year on year over the last 5 years.........
