I thought the best round was the "pressurised drop goal" where you took a drop goal from right in front of the sticks under no pressure at all.

The round where you had to chip it over someone stood still and collect it was also one hell of a challenge.

Who comes up with these competitions, surely it would have been better to at least attempt to mimic a situation you might come up against in an actual match?

2003 = 79%
2004 = 79%
2005 = 74%
2006 = 76%
2007 = 83%
2008 = 83%

His stats this year have him at 79% so far.

That's not much of a drop in standards.

Deac's problems have been due to injuries mainly. He was very good today and only kicked one bad ball all night from what I remember.

Nah, there were some pretty dodgy kicks on the last tackle from both our kickers.

After seeing the replay of the Moore challenge, I think a sin bin was sufficient.

It is the top of Moores arm/shoulder that connects with Deacon and he doesn't lift his arm. I think the correct punishment was handed out at the match.

What a ridiculous statement. It was a late shoulder charge, nothing worse. IMO he (Moore) had started to launch himself before Deacon kicked it, but he must have known he couldn't make impact beofre the kick was made. So no argument with 10 minutes.

Really? Agree about Nero & Sykes. But tell me anything that Deacon did apart from some average kicking from hand.

He had time to get his arm down. His shoulder didn't make impact first, his arm did.

His arm is attached to his shoulder, as are most peoples, it was vertically under his shoulder & didn't make any contact with Deacon's head. Ergo a fair tackle, if Deacon had had the ball that is.
