i like Bailey. Thought he had a good game today.

Wouln`t want Bailey he doesn`t know how to tackle without taking someones head off.

He did have a good game actually and i'm sure he would be a good signing for us.

If Bailey came in at the expense of Heath then I would seriously wonder about the sanity of some in charge.

Ryan Bailey is EXACTLY the sort of player we need to be considering. Fans bringing emotive b0llox into it such as "I don't like him, he's a nasty man" is simply irrelevant. He isn't there to be liked.

He is aggressive, nasty, elicits a response from the opposition and does the small stuff well. Nobody wins 4 GF medals if they are utterly useless (cue some crank wheeling out a curve ball)

From what I have seen of Bailey this year, he looks in excellent form. As for him running away from scraps - the opposite seems true to me, he simply doesn't back down. He caused Cas lots of problems yesterday with his directness, leg drive, quick PTB, and wrestling in the ruck.

We lack nastiness, core aggression and directness at times. Bailey would give us that. Sadly, he is extremely unlikely to leave Headingley, Griffin added or otherwise. They have lost Cross and Burgess and would be reticent to lose a 3rd experienced prop in a year.

And the caveat regarding his discipline. He has conceded less penalties than Patrick who needs a Van.

There will be no Heath/Bailey exchange. Utter balls given Bailey will be given a new contract and Leeds seem set on Lincoln Withers for hooker.

Worryingly, maybe, but again I agree with GB.

This is Ryan Bailey who incidentally has conceded fewer penalties this season than Lynch, Kopczak, Hargreaves, L'Estrange, Diskin, Whitehead, and Elima.

Clearly our pack has a discipline problem and Bailey would be a good addition. Maybe he could teach them something? He certainly manages to wind people up, something our lot seem to struggle with, they can't even wind themselves up half the time.

Im sure the treble champions will know.

We could clearly do with him. Our team are complete powder puff and carry no aggression whatsoever. Bailey would help sort this out.

Shame I also think GB is spot on that Bailey won't leave Leeds.

Bailey played well at the weekend and would be in my 17 every week. He's handed plenty out and taken plenty and all this 'runs away' stuff is pure rubbish. Only Paul Sculthorpe handed him his backside and that's years ago.

And tbf, Scully would hand most men their backsides

Bailey would be an excellent addition to the current crop, he has had his best season since I can remember and had a stormer against cas, he really ran in hard and bust some tackles and certainly looks like he's playing for a new deal.

He's exactly what we need at the Bulls and would make the current 17 every week. We are crying out for someone who can dish out a bit of dirt, it might just lift the rest of the pack which have been bullied off the park all season. Sure he could do with bending his back a little, but no more than half the bulls squad have needed to this season.

However I seriously doubt Bailey would even want leave Leeds, unless he was out of favor and no longer wanted by the club, which the rumors surrounding griffin and moore suggest to me, along with the extensions to JP and Leuluai his future certainly looks insecure. I would hope the bulls are at least looking into it... I just wish he didn't have such a good game yesterday hahaaah

IRC Bailey (and another Leeds player that I forget) held Stuarts arms so Barry could hit him, but unlike Barry Bailey didnt get a red card or even reported. thats how big he is. And thats why the scully clip is one of my favourites.

Bailey would not only add biff, bite and ability but the core element of being on a damn site smaller salary than some of the shambolic show ponies masquerading around in the League at the moment.

I'm not interested if Sculthorpe might have bitch slapped him once. That's what happens when aggressive guys collide. They take it, dish it out and get on with it. The Hulme brothers were masters of this and never whined to the referee Sam Tomkins style (and whilst we're at it, he would have received one almighty pasting back in the day for his Ronaldo theatricals)

Bailey won't leave Leeds, that's very clear. What is even clearer, is some fans complete inability to actually comprehend the finer elements required that are core contributory components in a teams success. Not every player can be box office or a fraction making game breaker.

Bailey is the master of the simplicity. If he can wind fans up on here, imagine how much more useful this ability is on the field. Ask James Graham....once he has picked his dummy up from Toys R Us.

As for my favourite Bailey U Tube clip - seeing Mary Fartsontheloo sparked out, followed by the ginger one swinging his handbag was pure comedy. The biff at it's best.

Its the difference between like and likely GB. couldnt agree more that we would like a Bailey type and that it is totally unlikely to be Bailey, so any thoughts on other more likely candidates for that role?

Therein lies the point. There are none available on minimal wage for maximum output with that level of nastiness, experience and ability.
