possibly not but they may accept payment under the terms agreed previously which was announced as 5 months for the VAT from sale of Odsal and 3 years for the image rights settlement. That totals about half million pounds that doesn't have to be put in up front.

Or, more properly, for a CVA to be approved you need approval of at least 75% of the creditors. WHich in this case means HMRC and probably a few others.
All previous payment plans are null and void. What we would be talking about here is what % in the pound HMRC and others would accept.

Adey, does that mean if one creditor is owed 75% of the total debt he decides our fate, or is it a 'democratic', each creditor has one vote 75%?

It's a [imaximum[/i of six points, just as it was with Wakey, but you can have the penalty reduced =#FF0000 if you pay a lump of the owed money back, a la Wakey.
You may remember that Wakey were docked only 4 points, that was because the RFL [iwaited until the deal was sorted[/i before jumping in with the iron fist. [iIf[/i it turns out that we also pay back a significant amount, a big if, quite possibly, but [iif[/i that happens, I can't see, in all fairness, why the decision shouldn't be re-visited. In fact it damn well ought to be. Truth is there was no need at all to make the decision when they did.

Without ploughing over old ground and getting hung for it, Wakefield came out of admin very quickly had no funding from the RFL and sold a number of players leaving us very weak, now thats not happened here and players could have been sold to ease the pain weeks ago (emphasis weeks not days) in addition you have had massive support from the governing body, dont think you will reduce the 6 points now.

Its the RFL calling the shots now. They control the one thing of value to a prospective future owner - the SL Licence - so they will decide who gets to own the club. And who does not.
Bet its the last time BG takes a job on as a favour, as he implied?
Be nice to the RFL; they own more than the stadium.

| Whether Wakey et al were deducted 4 or 6 points is immaterial. The Bulls (and I speak as a Bulls supporter) should have a six point deduction if only for the embarassment factor caused by the whole farce.

That could be interpreted as "That's the last time I take on a job as a favour for my old mucka the Kaiser to try & ensure I secure him the most profitable deal for him & sod the club & fans". Possibly that's what the RFL thought.

| So, the RFL is to hear the 4 remaining bids today but not likely to announce who the succesful bidder is for "a number of weeks" according to Look North this morning!

| Anyone who has had to open tenders for complex projects into the millions would know it takes weeks to bottom out the necessary details. I am talking about tenders that are all supposedly fully compliant as well. The RFL would be negligent otherwise, unfortunately.

The blurb yesterday from BG was the deal to be COMPLETED in a few weeks. If the bidders are insisting on confidentiality, then we will not find out till the ink has dried.......
I should imagine today the RFl, BG and the sucessful bidder will all be in the know - then its down to the nitty gritty of negotiating the t&c's etc..... which will take a few weeks for various reasons

Secondary problem from our POV is that even if we do retain our SL license this is going to have a massive knock on effect next year. We can't start our recruitment or retention until this is over. Think we'll do well to avoid wooden spoon next year and we know how fickle a big chunk of out fanbase is. They'll quickly forget how this years problems and get on teams back if results take a backward step.

| It was mentioned in League Weekly that Mark Campbell (CEO of Fev Rovers) was interested in buying the Bulls franchise from SL(E) if/when they get the nod from the RFL. This was also un-conditional and he stated he would not talk with BG over a potential buy-out but would only talk with SL(E).

Well that proviso remains to be seen, but it looks like an option more favourable for the Club than perhaps one Guilfool would recommend! (just a thought Fev's revenge for newlove? )

Way that reads is he's interested in buying the franchise and transferring it to fev, rather than buying the club. Can't see how that's a better option than anything guilfoyle puts forward, even if that does mean someone undesirable regaining control.
