What Connor fails to mention is that during that period of time around 95% of the coaching these lads recieved will have come from their club coaches not the Bulls.

| As Beefy also observed.
Unfortunately, everything that is being said is tending to lead people to form a tentative, but disturbing, conclusion? You have to hope it's the wrong conclusion.

| I know some of the Under 16's at Bulls, played alongside and against many of them. The right ones got the scholarships. Curtis Naughton (fullback) absolutly class if he can carry on the way he's going he will be in an England shirt by the age of 21. Goalkicker too. Alex Mellor (2nd row/LF) big strong unit but I aint seen too many games of hs to comment further although from good sources he's a class player too. Adam Brook (halfback) he could turn out to be a real find. Nathan Conroy (hooker) played with him from U8's - U13's, played against him a few week ago, great attitude and always looking to take line on, more in the Diskin mould than Strangers.

If you make the mistake of trying and go down both forks at once, then you have achieved fork all...

Agree Ethan in that Lynch is no leader and for mine it has to be one of Heath, Disko, Kearney.
I'll also add that bringing in quality over quantity is key for next season with the new signings looking like improvements on the players they will end up replacing.
While I think a mass clearout will have a detrimental effect on the team (we really do need some stability) and overall focus for next year, we must be honest in that we are carrying a lot of dead wood at present and to progress forward we need get shut of it.
I'm so bloody upset at what we saw today, #### sake.

Apart from Heath, Kearney, Whitehead & Koppy there are no players I would be absolutely gutted to see leave atm. Raynor and Burgess are close too.
I too would like to see some stability, but thats hard when there's so much e in the squad. There are 2 things we lack desperately - leadership and quality. I hope we address this with the rest of the signings.
We have no shortage of hard workers (although todays performance contradicts that) and we are strong in certain areas (hooker, second row) But I still think we really lack quality in the outside backs, halves and at 13. Hopefull Donno and Addy can help at loose, but I would be excited with the signing of a creative 13.

What do you think of Rob Hawthorne ? he looks a good player to me but must be gutted the Bulls have signed two very average overseas centres for next season.

Or be realistic that once he's made his debut he'll probably feature 3 or 4 times (more if circumstance favours him and he grasps the opportunity)

| No criticism of Lynch, but a change would be a good thing for the new season. Heath for me as hes the right attitude and in the centre of play, but what I cannot suggest yet is who is primary on-field captain when Heaths on the bench.

That's when we should be able to turn to our loose to lead the team. But he's always missing. And I'll criticise Lynch, I have no problem with doing it.

| Rob Hawthorn is okay now. His defence is average and he can run, not sure how fast he is tbh. But sooner have him in U20's than 1st team mate.

| Firstly , the players I would hate to see leave are; Heath, Kearney, Raynor, Whitehead, Burgess, Elima, Koppy... and that's about it, I'd say everyone else is average and we should be aiming at better! But unfortunately we're stuck with the likes of Sykes, Platt etc.
Secondly, the lack of leadership was so apparent yesterday with and without Lynch on the pitch! (Who was the captain when Lynch wasn't on?)
If Heath isn't given the captaincy and Lynch retains the captaincy.. we'll again struggle to get in the 8 next year!
