Weren't the visa's for this season OK so they weren't ineligible this year. If any teams should feel hard done by it's the teams in the national leagues the last 2 years.

I see Leeds go top with a 68-nil win, 64 points better than Saints managed earlier in the year.

On the face of it we acted with a sense of sportsmanship and fair play by refusing to demand the two points back,
whereas Leeds took full advantage by playing a full-strength squad against their depleted ranks in order to get as many points as possible.

Apparently it isn't only the Celtic with this problem, and it certainly does not look to be a punishable issue. Looks like most clubs will get away with it as far as this season is concerned, although the play offs could be affected.
