why would that dumbass coach of yours use an overseas spot on a winger for gods sake, when you have enough quality players who can play there already ! he ought to be looking at a scrum half or stand off overseas.

We should saty well clear of this Walker guy, he seems to much of a trouble maker, and obviously is only in it for the money. I was looking forward to us getting Daryl Millard, most Bulldogs fans seem to think he has already signed for us.

Walker is according to the Aussie papers a reformed character after overcoming problems with alcoholism and the stuff that comes with it.

Whether he is or not I'm not sure he's worth 100k when we have more pressing needs in the centres and halfbacks.

I thought Milllard looked a class act and I am a little disappointed that it looks like he is headed to Wakefield. The only thing that would offset the blow would be if we have recruited a good halfback.

Using the quota spots on a winger and a FB isn't in my opinion the best use of the quota spots. When and how will our weak area's at halfback and centre be addressed?

I think that the report was $100k Aus, which is significantly less.

Why's that good news when Halley has had a great season at full back and for me has been our player of the season and if he's back up full back then that's a waste of a quota space and if thats the case then why did we give Platt a new deal.

Are you joking? Daryl Millard has picked Wakey over us, you've done better this year but for me we are the bigger club to sign for.

whilst not how I'd put it, I'm afraid I agree with the basic point, I can't see the logic of upgrading the wingers without upgrading the halfs first.

That said we might be doing that as well but we haven't been told yet, so I will still withhold judgement until I see the full picture regarding our recruitment. The right players in the halfs might not be available either, but I'm not sire about that one.

I do think there has been a lot of enquiries for the same players by many clubs, and some of these players (agents) have been using interest from over to get better deals elsewhere.... so I reckon there is a lot of smoke and mirrors going on.

The club appear to be damned if they do and damned if they don't on here though.

For most of the season, members on here (including myself) have been saying how Sheriffe is one of the worst players in our team. The club make an offer to a winger, and people on here are questioning why we're signing one

But TBF I've never called our wingers despite some concerns, and I don't rate outside backs as our first problem, I haven't all season....can you guess where I want us to sign someone first??.... no prizes though

Money is obviously at the forefront of Walkers mind atm. Whether your'e for or against his signing I suspect a move to RU in Japan is probably the most likely scenario. His agent is doing his best to get Walker the most lucrative deal (and why not?)
Not sure if he'd be worth to us, the equivalent of AUS $150,000 he's asked the Titans for.
