It is inherent in any Spreadsheet that much of the data for future predictions cannot be held as certain and should be assessed from a statistical analysis of proven historical data added to reasoned assumptions based on any new data which may be available.
In the application of assumptions care has been taken by this author to disregard any elements of a preconceived conclusion or the taint of personal bias through emotional of pecuniary reward.

We might get in the eight therefore with only 24 points, way things are going.

I've not given up hope it all depends on the performance tomorrow for me. That's irrespective of result. I want them to prove they've got the hunger for the fight and the belief they can overcome all odds. Another performance like the past few weeks (well basically since the hudds game at magic) and I'll give hope too.

Where are we going to get 8-12 points from? The way we are playing, I can only see 2-4 points and that's if we are lucky!

I believe that Duckman is right to mention that the end of [inext[/i season is more important than this, since the intended re-organisation is supposed to take place, based on league positions at that point. The point that we'll still be on half TV money up to that point hasn't been missed.

I know sports fans are fickle & demand immediate success but it has to be viewed as a season of potential consolidation & building. The RH-P appointment is one of the few positives to come out of the second half of the season & give some optimism for the future. Carvell is a good signing, but it depends on the financial cost as to whether it is good value. If Ferguson has signed that will be a massive vote of confidence & also a sign that there is some funding in place. FC dealt with Whitehead, at least publically, in the best way possible, but I have reverted to having my own huge doubts about his ability to coach at this level.

I'm not convinced about FC yet, but it sounds as though he's backing up what he said about only trying to sign good players who want to come here, and If the signings are along the same lines as Carvell and Ferguson ill be happy.

Think he deserves a proper go at recruitment and then pre season to see if he's up to it.

Yes, I know there are plenty who are not only looking critically at results but demanding better and are possibly quite prepared to take their bats home if it isn't delivered, but whatever fans happen to want doesn't change the reality of the situation and if people don't want to join in for the long haul, well that's their prerogative. The problem with people like you is that when the team plays well (and it has), you don't say much, but when the team plays badly, you "can't see" it ever playing well again, and you completely disregard the early season form. You base your whole attitude on an assumption that having fallen into a slump in form, we will never, ever, under any circumstances, play well again, ever, and are now doomed to eternal crapness.

But the main thing is, you don't get the point of the thread, which was to get people to put THEIR OWN RESULT FORECASTS IN (yes, even if you predict LLLLLLLLL for the Bulls) and then post your predicted final table. If you can't be bothered, but prefer to tell us we will all die, feel free, but not here, there were and are plenty of other threads full of that.

I pass this on without comment. I was in the pub yesterday tea time with the tigress & cub. I heard someone behind me ask 'How have they got on?' 'Got beat 26-12' was the reply. My ears then pricked up as I had had the RL on the radio just before we went out & guessed they were talking about the Bulls. 'Struggling aren't they?'
