Played a couple in the U20s. He is looking good. Should be back in the 1st team back end of April at at guess.

Good lad is Richard Owen seems to have his head screwed on from what I've seen of him in interviews.

T&A reckons Briggs won't be in the 17, lists Sykes at FB, Royston in the centres and Kearney at 6. Langley and Heath both in the 17.

What about Bateman??

No Bateman either. Call me a cynic, but I doubt Potter ever had any intention of including either Briggs or Bateman in the 17 this week.

I was talking to Mick Potter in the Bulls Ticket Office this morning. He said that he is entirely focused on a better performance than last week.

Well that's a plus.

That's not Mr Murphy's doing as he just sends it in to the T&A subs who then put it to print on Saturday morning.

It was his day off when it went in for printing last week, which is why it was wrong.

Even though I would prefer to see Royston at FB, if Potter thinks Sykes is the better choice then I'll get behind him.

Sykes will get my support the same as the other 16 who play tomorrow. Even though I don't think he's the best FB we could play, I hope he proves the doubters wrong and puts in a blinder. I'd prefer him in the centres though.

Couldn't care less what the T & A write after today. I'll review the 17 man squad once Steve Bailey announces it tomorrow. Then I'll review their performance when the final hooter goes.

Jackson went off with concussion around ten minutes from the end which really did help as his replacement Fozzard made little impact as the game entered the final minutes.

Huby kicking the ball close to our line on the 3rd tackle was a massive error of judgement IMO.
