Well, specifically today we had a couple of late pull outs due to illness
But, yeah, he does seem to like ....ummm... moving players around!

Apparently a bad stomach bug or something along those lines went through the squad all this week.
Our star man Gaskell has been out since Wakey game and we don't look same. Mullaney filled his role against Salford but has been In and out of injuries all season.

Not really. We haven't had a scrum half all season.

The one we do have was on the bench and didn't come onto the field until the game was over

| One thing that struck me as an outsider is the former NRL "superstars" are no better than any other Brits running around in the championships.

A bad stomach bug? Well I can understand that as the term "drizzling s" seems to sum up yesterday's performance

| Quote ="roofaldo2"The Salford game was an anomaly. We don't know what exactly is going on behind the scenes over there, but it seems obvious that there's more than a few ruffled feathers thanks to the mad Doctor. So Salford turned up with clearly the wrong mindset and we actually turned up to play and got some luck on the day.
I think actually, the Salford result has actually done us more harm than good'"
Firstly, I haven't come here to gloat or mock, as can be seen by my previous posts here on YOUR forum, I had hoped for both our Great Clubs to be promoted to SL this season, though it looks unlikely that even one will achieve that.
Now there may be an 'element' of truth to what I am about to say or it could prove to be complete codswallop, but here goes.
Talking at the Eagles game last week a friend had been in a pub where Ex Salford Coach Harris was drinking, my friend had claimed that Harris had been sacked by Koukash as Harris had punched MK in the car park following a Salford match & also that in the lead up to your Salford match, MK had again refused to pay a number of Salfords squad.
The story went along the lines that the team had basically gone on an unofficial strike & "didn't turn up" in terms of effort, commitment etc on the day. This might explain the anomaly or again be a falsehood.
I don't wish to detract from a great result & performance by your boys at all, on your 'form' days the Bulls look a very exciting & formidable team.
I hope to see you all down at the LSV next week in massive numbers, you did yourselves proud in Round 1 & hopefully we can all enjoy a great, clean & hard fought match between two Great Clubs that are actually wanted in SL by other SL Clubs fans.
Best wishes.

Is this really the best story you're able to come up with to justify Bradford beating Salford? Is it so far beyond your comprehension that Bradford might have been the better team on the day? Bradford remains the only championship team to date able to beat a Superleague side in the qualifiers. Leigh lost 3 consecutive games to Superleague sides. How the final board will look is anyone's guess and whether or not any championship team achieves promotion remains to be seen, but please show some respect.
Spreading malicious gossip such as this is absolutely vile. The accusations you are making against Dr Koukash are ridiculous and could be libellous.

| Supporting HKR I know what it's like to witness and feel the pain of a heavy defeat. Yours yesterday was made slightly less heavy by Josh Mantellato having his worst kicking display of the season. On one of his better days you could easily have shipped 60 points.
However even after a heavy defeat even the most disappointed fan needs to keep some sort of perspective. Bull Mania writes "Hull KR don't want this we're doing well but shooting ourselves in foot!" and "Hull KR were there for the taking today!" Sendei-Bull posts "Well cheesed off with this game. HKR were there for the taking but we've been poop."
We did not play all that well especially in the first half but I am sure I would have seen the match differently if I had had a bit of whatever Bull Mania and Sendei-Bull had got from their supplier.

| If we beat Leigh next week and Fax lose their next game (think they're playing Wakey) doesn't that garuntee us 5th place? We'd be on 6 points, then Leigh and Fax will be on 2 points with 1 game left.
Edit: unless Sheffield win all their remaining games

| Well I don't think it's changed our target too much, we still need to beat Leigh to ensure we make the £1M game. Lose and we need to rely on Widnes not fielding a weakened side, whilst needing to beat a confident Fax side with little to lose and perhaps something to gain if they beat Wakey too! Next week is still a big one and Leigh will be even more desperate now, because they simply have to win to keep their dreams alive.

I agree it doesn't change much, though Halifax winning margin has helped us a bit. It could come down to points difference for 4th or 5th which was always likely. I don't really get why Lowes was so dismissive about point difference in the post match interview last week. Even when it's clear we are going to lose, every point matters. Our heads seem to drop a little too easy.

| Fax have done us a favour but we still need to perform in two league matches.
Even if we get to million pound game could you see us doing a job on Wakefield away.
I don't want to sound too dismissive I just don't think we have what it takes...
I hope I am proven wrong more than anyone.

It's not set in stone we'll be away to wakefield. Win both our games and wakes losing one would see us at odsal. Would fancy us in that one provided we get a decent ref tbh.

| Either way round we need to perform in all the remaining "winable " matches...
Fielding a scrum half and stand off would be a good start.

Yes. Wakey were shocking by all accounts yesterday and looking at twitter, chairman, players arguing with fans is never a good situation.
IF (a BIG if) we did get Wakey in the million pound game, and we had all out players fit (An even bigger IF) i can't see us being taken by surprise with a Wakefield blitz. It would be a much closer game and we have more than enough to beat them.
But this is Bradford and i can see Gaskell being out for the season, Mullaney pulling another hamstring, Clough or Sidlow getting injured leaving us with 3 available props and us losing to Leigh and Fax

| The problem remains getting the players into the right mindset at kickoff.
It was the case that our key game was Wakey away, and we never turned up. We blew it. They were and are there for the taking, but we instead were garbage and were lucky to get only the thrashing we did.
If we had beaten Wakey then just have a look what the table would look like now. I knew that result would come back to haunt us.
Anyway, as it stands, talk of winning the big game is academic if we aren't consistent or committed enough to do the busines on both Leigh and Halifax. Leigh have been a good team for a couple of years, Halifax not so hot though they are finishing the season strong, but any team with genuine belief that we have the makings of a SL side must beat other Championship sides while we are at their level. If we get beat by either Leigh or Halifax then we genuinely do not deserve promotion. They are not easy games, but they are games we simply can't lose if we think we are good enough to go up.
