How can a few hundred bulls fans set off earlier but their players can't set off early enough to go and do the job they are paid to do. Ill go on Sunday as I've paid, but I won't be visiting the kc again after that.

I appreciate its not their fault what's happened but to take money for tickets and parking 2 minutes before is disgusting

apparently the hull fc players set off earlier than a lot of the fans and the bulls team coach. they were in fact just behind the accident and got caught in no mans land between the accident and the last junction it was possible to get off at, along with many others. the bradford coach and many fans who were some way behind this were able to get off at junction 34 and divert but the hull players were effectively trapped. they set off at the standard time for them to get to the game. 15 mins earlier and they would have made it, 15 mins later and they could have diverted

Omar Khan has just said that coach travel is free on Sunday to all those who traveled with the club tonight.

30 seconds before the announcement the people on the turnstiles were just doing their job, admittedly if they'd have been clairvoyant they would have probably said "sorry sir, it's just about to be announced that its off, so I won't take your money"

According to the Oz news the UK will be covered in a blanket of Snow over the Weekeend, which Sod Hall must have known about, so expect ructions if the Match is snowed off!!

Unfortunately, that's very unlikely, a reasonable person might expect that whilst having discussions about whether the game would go ahead, Hull FC would also have sent a quick message to the manager of the turnstile staff telling them that they were uncertain on whether it would go ahead.

Least a bit of helpful advice, my criticism isn't trying to offend you lot, I know you all wanted the game to go ahead too.

No offence taken, and my comments were similarly not to cause offence - but my point being until a definitive announcement is made what can you do? Carry on that's what. If people had been turned away because of uncertainty of game status and then it had gone ahead, it would have likely caused some chaos for which they would have been similarly lambasted.
Refunds have been offered so what's the beef/horse?

My beef/horse is the cost of the fuel to get to the game. I feel the 2 points should have been offered and indeed taken as it was the home side who couldn't raise a team. Very sporting of Franny to agree to postponing. At the same time I totally appreciate the other side of the coin - I'd be livid if that had happened to us - and do intend on going across on Sunday, being that this has been something I've been looking forward to all week. It better be a bloody good game though as car of 4 now has the thick end of £150 invested in it!

What a great gesture from the Bulls to give a refund for OFFICIAL travel to Fridays match or a free trip to the rearranged match on Sunday on production of your ticket.

Whilst its all well and good that the official travellers be refunded, there were plenty of bulls fans who "unofficially" drove there as well wasting plenty of petrol money. Personally i set off at 5.45 and got back home at 10.45 travelling 200 miles and will probably be doing the same journey on sunday hopefully minus the de tour this time!

don't be so stupid! do you realise that the bulls team coach was actually stuck before the junction so the police were able to divert them via the hard shoulder, the hull players stuck were after the junction, or stuck in 'no mans land' and had no other alternative

thank yourself lucky you never spent over £300 to go to france and have a game called off and only get £20 back in refund for the match ticket!
