Or they were just exploring other options. Much like me on Football Manager where I bid for 10 players, negotiate with them all and then just finalise the one I decide I want and cancel the rest.
Wouldn't read too much into it, but it does suggest the club are certainly considering losing one. |

Translation:

I have no clue who is and who isn't a well established club, but obviously if it doesn't already have a fair crack of winning the title, then there's no point in me going there, as I certainly won't change that around.'"

Usually a player's agent contacts all clubs when the player he's representing is available. This often leads to speculation that a club is "talking to" a player when all that's happened is that the club has received notice that someone is available. They're just touting him around and seeing who bites.

Willie isn't a rocket scientist that's clear. His choice of words I'm sure, are largely shuffled around to suit the media narrative.
The fact is, he is an outstanding player and one who will play with that raw stupidity whomever he turns out for.
It will likely be at either Giants, HKR or Rhinos, but if he considered Odsal, he would be most welcome. And an incredible marketing asset.
