One of the youngsters in Crookes, Olbison and Donaldson are going to be named in the squad. I wonder which it will be, when I saw Donaldson named I immeadietly thought that he might be selected to play at 6 alongside Ben and keep Beaver in the loose forward. I think that might be a good option actually. Although he could play Crookes at centre at Sykes at 6, if Jason Crookes does play then I hope Macca lines him up against Ashley Gibson and not Keith Senior.

Donaldson to get bench spot but get 5 mins tops.

More likely that Sykes might move to 6 during the game and Crookes play at right centre.

Does anyone know if Tom Olbison is related to Kevin the former Bramley player ?

Would there be any point? Halley barley gets a game for Sheriffe off the bench, I cant see where Crookes would get on from there.

Not saying there is any point but I reckon that is what will happen.

Do you actually believe it? It's part of the pre match mind games I reckon.

I do belive it, as I dont think we're smart enough at the moment for any meaningful mind games. And I dont think Leeds would care if we had everybody fit or not.

As I said in another thread..

It's all part of the Bradford plan. We play up until the Leeds game, luring them into a false sense of security. We then go out, whoop their s and go on an unbeaten run for the rest of the season,

This culminates in a grand final game between Leeds and Bradford. We're in the final minute and we're losing 24-20. Beaver breaks the line, passed the ball to Platt who makes progress down the pitch. Platt is tackled and almost fumbles the ball, but sneaks it out of the back door to Halley before the tackle is complete, who takes it towards the wing. He cuts inside, plays it inside to Platt who goes over and SCORRRRRRREEEEEESSSSS!

The Bradford fans are jubilant, but wait - Ganson has gone to the video referee. It looks like Platt has dropped it over the line. It's close, but the video shows enough downward pressure and control.

The Leeds fans are drained out and downbeat. The Leeds squad are out of it, and this defeat stays with them for another 32 years as they fail to win anything.

If that doesn't happen, then all faith in Macca is definitely gone - that last 1% anyway.

Mind games, or getting the excuses in early?
