FWIW, Jeffries has more tries assists (and in less games) than any other player in SL, with the exception of Danny Orr (10 ) and Tony Martin, who he is level with.

| Another is that in 2003 Deacs made the second most clean breaks for us, after Les.

| Here's another - Rikki Sheriffe's 2008 stats were well ahead of Dave Halley's, playing in a lower-placed side.

Some other interesting stats in there. A few where none of our players even figures won't surprise anyone (although missed tackles might), but one or two stuck out for me from a QUICK review and with a bit of QUICK mental arithmetic:
On an average per game basis, only Briers made more attacking kicks than Deacon. (Does not say how effective the kicks were, of course...)
On an average per game basis, Morro has the third highest number of tackles in the competition [size=75(yet some are "disappointed" with him this year...)[/size
On an average per game basis, Beaver has one of the highest error counts in the competition. And is the highest offloader in the competition...
We have no-one in the top 25 for missed tackles or penalties conceded (albeit from fewer games).
Make of those what you will...

| ok,
in the 2006 season Karl Pryce and Lesley Vainikolo both played the same number of games (21) and scored the exact same number of tries (17).
Not overly interesting i'll admit but at least a midly curious coincedence I'll try to do better...

Exactly, just goes to show that stats dont tell the whole story.
another pointless fact;
In the 2009 season so far Leeds have made 3 40/20 kicks. M. Alker has made 3 40/20 kicks. Whereas, in the enitre 2008 season the Bulls managed a grand total of 2 40/20's (one of which was kicked by Hape )

Or maybe it shows that, as a 18(?) year old, he was given a bit too much of a hard time by an element of the support?

In 2005, Paul Deacon missed more goals than any other player by quite a considerable margin.

Who was it that said Statistics meant nothing????
Platt has alot of talent its just a shame he isn't on top form at the moment. I know which one I'd rather have in my team though

Indeed in 2008
Platt - gave away just 7 penalties to Webb's 15
Platt - 18 errors, Webb 30.
No contest. Liabilty that Webb.

| Its okay.....We can replace Webb with another fullback....Lee Smith
Who have you got... Oh yeah Paul Sykes......Or that unfit lad who you palmed off to Wakey.
Interesting though isn't it because I bet if you ask just general RL fans who is the better full back 90% of em would say Brent Webb. Wheras the stats (Even I have to admit) suggest Platt is the better

Penalties - Platt 7, Webb - a whopping 18 and 5, yes 5 yellow cards
Errors - Platt 17, Webb 25, and a staggering 30 missed tackles.
