I've just seen this too.

The other side to this coin is that Brian Smith may not be the most modern coach in terms of his approach to his players. By that I mean that I understand him to be quite school-masterly (?) in his interactions with the playing staff. It might be that this approach doesn't fit so well with the modern game and that in actual fact a change of coach reinvigorates the Wakey players.

That said, theyre an absolute shower in defence still and whilst they can score points they're certainly not outscoring teams. Any potential new coach will have to address this on the training field if they're going to shore things up.

Unless he's the person already scheduled to take over from Webster at HKR at the end of the season.

Apparently Saints knocked back Wakeys request to take Travis Burns on loan. I wonder if that was the straw that broke the camels back?
