I remember putting in a similar motion suggesting The Labour Party reconsider their decision to change their name to New Conservatives



I always thought we should’ve changed the name to the Bradford- Northern Bulls. I think everyone would’ve been happy.

I guess the Sox names in Boston and Chicago have over a hundred years history each, and I suppose 'sox' may have been quite a cool name at the beginning of the 20th century... more accepted than in mid-1990s Halifax.

That annoying Blue Sox song the ground pa played after every bloody try in the 98 season and even more so during the 25-12 loss in the rain.

You know the one that started with thunderstorms and then went Naaaa Naaaa Na Na Na Naaaa Naaaa Blue Sox.

That 'song' used to feature on adverts on the Pulse as well.... It was catchy. Maybe there was something in the Blue Sox name!

Both the Chicago and Boston teams were called Stockings before they were shortened to Sox. Fax should have given that a crack.
