Had the whole "cup tying" rule not been in place, I'm sure Bradford would have been fine with him playing. The only reason they will have not allowed it is because he then couldn't play for Bradford if they need him in future rounds.
I would say that if we go out to Catalans and Halifax get through against Widnes, they'll probably let him play in the next round, as it won't make a difference to us.
The statement from the Fax club was spot on when it said they'd probably do the same thing in the same situation, as I'm sure almost every other club would.
