Weekend Rugby League Preview - 16th August 2018
Round twenty-five of Super League starts on Thursday night with a St Helens side, still needing two wins to clinch the Minor Premiership up against a Wakefield Trinity side who know that a loss will effectively end their slim play-off hopes. Friday sees Castleford take on Warrington as third plays fourth while Huddersfield and Hull meet with both sides knowing that their top four challenge will be over should they lose. The final top flight fixture comes on Saturday afternoon as Wigan travel to the Catalans Dragons.
Three of the four Qualifiers games also take place on Saturday with Widnes desperate for their first two points at a buoyant Salford. Either Toulouse or Halifax will open their accounts in the competition as they meet in southern France while Hull KR are in Toronto to face the Wolfpack knowing that a loss will put them in all sorts of trouble. The final game is on Sunday afternoon when a fourth placed London Broncos entertain top-of-the-table, Leeds Rhinos.
