| I'm bored so thought I'd compare KC to Holbrook this year.
KC was in charge for 8 games. He won 3, lost 4 and 1 draw.
He scored 135 points over the 8 games giving him avg of 16.8 for in attack.
He conceded 134 against us over 8 games giving him a Avg of 16.75 against us.
Holbrook has been in charge 10 games. He's won 7 an lost 3.
We've scored 274 points over the 10 games which gives him avg of 27.4 in attack.
We've conceded 173 points over 10 games giving him avg of 17.3 against.

| I'd definitely take 10 extra points scored for just one extra conceded. We're a better team already and hopefully the improvement continues when the squad is freshened up over the off season. The backrow in particular needs replacing.
I think the makings of a decent side are there. The majority of the points we're conceding are caused by individual errors, more often than not we put ourselves under pressure. Classic example with Wakefield's first try today with the Wilkin mistake. If we could cut that out, the likes of Percival and Taia stop coming up with so many individual errors AND get Ben Barba in the side in even half decent form and cohesion we'd have a chance of competing this year.

| Its a lot more than the extra try or two in attack, its the fact the team are re-learning how to play rugby after having it trained out of them.
Some good trys scored in the last couple of weeks.
Just need to keep improving the passing accuracy and movement off the ball and we will score even more points.

I think the backs have stood up since Holbrook came. Lomax fit and playing gives us more options in attack. Grace has give us some genuine pace whicn we ain't had since Albert. Ryan Morgan has come on leaps and bounds the past two month am provides a deguine threat with ball in hand. Percy for me has been best centre in super league this year. Tommy for me is up there for saints player of the year. Theo is looking dangerous and really stood up with smith out.
I'd keep young Richardson at 7 even when smith is back. He offers more in attack than smith and deserves his crack at keeping the 7 shirt. He has got a good partnership going with Theo.
Still think we struggling in the pack. None of the props are in any form at all. Alex started like house on fire as he always does but really out if form at the min. Amor been hit and miss amd Douglas been pretty avg all year.

| We played at a quicker tempo when KC left the club, the Easter games was better getting the ball to the edges, that was before Holbrook arrived. For Holbrook his 10 games I feel has been very much a learning curve for him as well as the players, we already knew he was attack orientated and i think we have been seeing that since the Leeds game.
.
We look better balanced along the back line and Lomax has had a lot of input to that, in the forwards Thompson, LMS and Peyroux have improved under Holbrook, overall the players are playing very much for one another and for Holbrook and its all adding to confidence in how they are playing the game.

| I think Holbrook has done really well with the team since his arrival and I am really looking forward to what happens in the close season to see whom he brings in and the prep for next season.
He would have gone up further in my estimation if he would have got on the Exercise bike at Wake yesterday lol, Thommo and longy did. "Holbrook, get on the bike, Holbrook Holbrook get on the bike!" lol

| Hopefully in a year or so any memories of Cunningham the coach will have gone, leaving just his legacy as a player.
Its interesting reading this thread because what you're really talking about Holbrook doing is just getting the team to do basic stuff better. I think it explains a hell of a lot about the supposed decline in SL standards - IMO its a lot to do with having too many poor coaches around as much as any lack of playing talent.
