| Where did that performance come from? Following last weeks debacle how the hell did they manage that today.

| As bad as Hull were, I though you were very good, despite the score, defence and enthusiasm was your strong points, thought Roby was outstanding.

| It was bizarre. There was a lot made about Hull's performance on Sky, but we really didn't give them a chance. We suffocated them, dominating them in the pack, completing our sets and taking the chances that came up. The forwards were superb today, Walmsley and Amor starting put us on the front foot, Roby masterful in his control of the game, supported by Smith.
The most puzzling aspect of it was the defending. We conceded 50+ last week yet this week they were rock solid. We survived set after set on our own line and held them out brilliantly.

| That really is inexplicable.
Phil Clarke had it right when he said many Saints fans will be disappointed today. Not disappointed in today's performance, but disappointed in the knowledge that a team which can play like that has managed to turn in such woeful performances in the first half of the season.
I enjoyed watching it, and of course Hull were terrible, but where's that been?

| Getting thrashed by 43 points by one of the best sides in the comp one week to thrashing one of the other best sides in the comp by 45 points a week later with pretty much the same team. Utterly strange.
Tommy's try will live long in the memory, that's for sure.

| Confidence is a funny thing in sport. I think confidence in both your attacking structures and defensive structures goes a long way, and the completion rate suggests a degree of confidence in the game plan that hasn't been present previously.

| Think I was the only one on the Wire board who predicted a Saints win.
When you have that quality pack together you can really turn the screw with your pacy backs. The depth of that pack is you nemesis, imo another big prop is a priority.
Losing Walmsley for a game the wheels fall off.

| I'm not getting carried away, I can remember Wakefield, widnes, Leigh and hudds disaster.
We played well but like cas last week, everything went our way. Hopefully this will be the game that changes our season

| I didn't see that performance coming from you lot. Carry on that form and Saints can threaten the top four slots.
I know Mr 'know-it-all' on here predicted a 70 point defeat but that was never going to happen.
