Why Cunningham persisted in playing Savelio in the front row will always be a mystery to me and was the main reason he wanted out.

I watched the tries on sky. Some of those early ones were just appalling. We looked a beaten uninterested team in the first 20!

We were very poor in the first 30 mins, didn't look enthusiastic at all. Don't know whats wrong with Douglas had another weak game, I would give the shirt to Walker. Some very bad defensive reads from Fages, Thompson and Walmsley. Swift, Percival, Morgan and Makinson were busy but our back row forwards didn't really have much impact. Richardson was asking questions but ran down too many blind alleys.

First off I've got to give Leigh credit. They were terrific and their approach to the game is refreshing. Motivated and determined, I've not seen that in Super League in years. They will win more than they lose at home I think.

Now for us. The first half was completely unacceptable and questions have to be asked. People will say calm down it's only the second week, but that's not the point. The team started the game with no respect for Leigh at all, they were determined only to do the absolute minimum. No effort, no commitment and unacceptably low standards. Second half was much better but the game was already over at 18-0. The chances we bombed were shocking, particularly Wilkin. He was put clear 30 out and literally jogged ten meters and threw a ridiculously lazy pass. Had he put the effort in he'd have either scored or given someone a walk in try. But no, that's too much effort. Peyroux dropping the ball was almost as bad but no surprise, he's the worst overseas signing we've made in decades.

Luke Douglas anyone? Send him back now, what an absolute pudding. He's going to make Josh Perry look like a true Origin great if he continues like this. He cannot play next week, nor can Wilkin and KCs mate Dom.

Other noticeable failures? Adam Swift? Lomax? Both had shockers again. Tommy Lee? Remind me again what his purpose on earth is? He had me intrigued last week when he did okay but I'm back to hating him now. Adam Walker? With his history, why sign him if we're not going to play him? Is he the new Ghostmont?

Worst thing about us? All KCs talk about unleashing us was all lies. Leigh promoted the ball, play with urgency and offloaded at will, always looking for the ball and making runs. We were playing one out rugby for the first four tackles all night in their 20, they just don't have a clue what they're doing.

On tonight's evidence we're going to really struggle away from home this season.

If Mr Thaler hadn't done all he could to keep Saints in the game the margin would have been deservedly bigger

Roby was your only good player out there at the LSV that made an impact tonight . Your forwards weren't good enough and I thought Thaler had a howler of a game tbh . Well done to all saints fans that came to the game, your an absolute credit to your club. I fear this will be cunninghams last few months in charge if things don't improve . I think we been unlucky with Douglas as he looks shot over night. I watched him most of last year as I knew we was looking at signing him and I thought looked very good signing. He played well I'm 4 nations as well but I think all those consecutive nrl games have took its toll. I beleive he's finished.

He looks slow, unfit and clumsy. He's clearly struggling with the pace of the game. Even KC noticed it in the Leeds game he's struggling with the pace and took him off at the end as he was a accident waiting to happen.

It's time to put walker in. I can't beleive walker isn't playing to be honest as KC has bigged him up all pre season and was excellent in 4 nations.

Only saw tries Sky online, watched Warrington V Castleford, yes Cas have the moves, another young player from London McMeekin the way he made the pass for Hardaker to score superb, what speed from Zak. I feel for Roby putting himself on the line every game for what?

Still worry about refereeing it seems to go worse, Castleford cleverly hold down the player to slow the game down every tackle and one player looks to the referee to wait for him to say sorry shout Move! never penalised once, Wire never seemed to get a chance to run.

There are that many young players in the game superb, but Saints decide to let their best GO?

I would put him in the team next week against Wakefield and drop Douglas for this game alongside Peyroux. Last night there were quite a few saints players frustrated with each other and showing bad body language, get the feeling team spirit is not as it should be just 2 games in.

First and final warning. Yes Leigh convincingly beat us fair and square, keep it relevant and without personal insults.

Every time we lose or not playing well we use the excuse of simet8ng not right or team spirit etc. At the end of the day, we was just not up for it in the first half and it cost us the game. This isn't the same leigh that was in super league last time, they will fight this time around.

On paper we should win but if the pack don't show up for first half then we fighting a losing battle.

Saints will be battling for T6 but without a quality half you will have to tough it out. I cannot believe with that amount of ball a Saints team failed to look even dangerous, something is wrong somewhere for you. Great following, which we will reciprocate, great fans, great craic before and after. Funny that as I'm always called on here for being critical of the club. I've bagged our recruitment and retention since 2006 so no saints tinted glasses here.

I'm also not a idiot to call for a coaches head only two games Into the season. Personally I'd have let KC go after last season but why sack a coach just two games in which effectively writes the whole pre season training off and all the hard work because of a loss to leigh. Just don't make sense.
