Only thing I've heard which suggests it might be pretty bad are KC's comments after the game and a later statement:
Quote St Helens will be without Mark Percival for the rest of the month after suffering a leg injury.
Percival, whose form has been a big factor in Saints’ seven-game winning streak, is set to be assessed later this week after picking up the injury in their victory over Catalans. He limped out of the match in the 29th minute and didn’t return to the field, sparking fears that the injury could be serious.
The club has yet to discover the extent of the injury, however head coach Keiron Cunningham has confirmed that he is likely to miss a number of weeks, meaning he will miss Saints’ important Super 8s clash with rivals Wigan on Friday.
A best case scenario is that he returns to action on September 2nd when they host Hull FC.
Keiron Cunningham said: “A leg injury that will be assessed in next day or two. He won’t feature for at least a couple of weeks.
“It isn’t the result we wanted but we have to move on.”

The Goons must be happy with this and with the Walsh & Thompson disciplinary charges looming.

To be honest the standard of RL we've dished up all year has been awful and even without Percival, Walsh and Thompson you'll beat us at a canter. As long as u defend like u have been doing we don't have anybody (maybe Williams) who could open u up. We'll be without O'Loughlin who's huge for us against Saints and Manfredi who tore u apart at your place. Still missing McIllorum and Clubb too. If I were a Saints fan, I'd be very confident of a decent win this week. I just hope we can give u a game.

Not happy in the slightest. I can't really comment on the suspensions because they happen and I've not seen them but Percival is a cracking young player and it's sad to see him get another injury. I'm hoping he's back soon because I see him as a starter for England at the end of the year.
I think there's enough doom and gloom at our end currently to not really concern ourselves with what's happening at Saints. I've never see the fans quite as uninterested in a derby. There's hardly any conversations going on over on our board and the ticket sales look appalling.
There's a real lack of confidence about the place at the minute and. Think most fans just expect us to carry on limping to a semi final before our faltering attack bundles us out in a drab affair.

| Injuries starting to be a major concern for Percy now. Hopefully this will be the last, but it seems to be that he misses half a season every season.

I posted here and on Red Vee about five years ago regarding Percival and what an exciting player he was. I wonder if Saints fans are happy about Manfredis injury? The real ones won't be but a lot on here and on t'other channel will be clapping their hands.

In my book anyone who revels in a player's injury is no fan of Rugby League. I wish him a speedy recovery.

To be fair I take it as meaning saints will not be at full strength.

Yes, that is what I was trying to say; but I said it very poorly.
Apologies to anyone who has been offended.
As far as Manfredis injury is concerned, its a tragedy for him and the Club as he is a very exciting player. I wish him a speedy recovery.

| To be honest, some of Saints worst performances have been when we have had a full strength team out. We don't often seem to struggle because we have two or three players missing. And I seem to remember wigoon being very similar. No reason to doubt that the game will be anything but another tough and close encounter

| We very rarely have a full strength team against Wigan, when we beat them 75-0 we had injuries and benched our best players.
