Is this the same McDonnell that saved about four tries with one on one tackles? Owens was and is dreadful however. Surely that is the last we'll see of him.

Yep it's the same Mcdonnell who is so static it looks like his feet are moulded into the ground. The same Mcdonnell who provides zero threat from full back.

Shocking

It was just a manic game, I don't know who missed the most tackles us or Leeds. Owens and McDonnell might have been rubbish in defence but our middle went dead soft after 20 mins and were just grabbing the players in the last 20 mins. If we carry on like this in our defence we are due a massive tonking shortly. Glad the game finished with a win but we are are miles away from being consistent performers.

Would anyone pick Turner on the wing until swift or Makinson are back?

He is a big unit and would be less vulnerable out wide defensively

Turner could be a bit better on kick returns over Owen or maybe the club are not interested in big unit wingers

I'd pick anyone over Owens.

I've been a bit hit and miss on matches this year, but to me Turner has played wing before and would be able to cover that position.

Why are we continually looking for a place in the 17 for Turner?

He's a centre and if not good enough then why should we pick him?

He's had more chances than anyone to impress and he continues to let the team down. He should be left out the 17 unless we have injuries in the centre or we have dire need for him in other positions.

He's very poor at 6, he's very poor at 13 and he's a defensive nightmare in the centre.

We need to replace Jack Owens he's had more chances but doesn't impress especially when he gives up to easy. I think Turner could do a better job despite his limitations in defence. Owens needs to be taken out of the firing line and play in the reserves for some confidence.
