Excuse me if I've spelt the name wrong........I tried to find some previous mention on the forum but I went back 6 pages and he seems to be as anonymous on here as he has been on the pitch.

I know he was a second choice centre in Australia so I'm not expecting Meninga/Lyon/Gidley quality and what little contribution he has made has been competent enough but really I was expecting more from him.

Maybe the ball just doesn't come his way but surely against the likes of Wakefield he would have wanted to show us what he is capable of and go looking for it.

Perhaps it's just me , maybe he's a big game player and will excel against the likes of Leeds and Wigan but I won't hold my breath.

In attack I don't think he's had a lot of quality ball the service to him has been a bit scrappy, seems OK competing for the high kick. In defence he is currently the same as Turner (2015) on the missed tackle ratio.

He's been decent.

Takes anyone time to settle in but no issues with what I've seen so far. Competent in defence and has shown he knows how to score. Only player to score against the aussies if I recall correctly.

Scored both that night didn't he? He's alright as a squad player IMO but when you've been fed on the likes of Newlove, Gibbs, Gidley, Lyon, Talau and co he hardly wets the appetite.

It's 5 games.

I'd give him more time yet.

I don't recall Talau or Gidley setting the world alight either in their first few weeks.

He's been better than expected from seeing him in nrl

Showed some good signs on Friday and seemed pretty hard hitting in defence. I think the rest of his family are only just arriving so he should settle in better.

That's true, I acknowledge that.

Agreed - I was expecting him to be a liability having watched him play for the Warriors a few times, but he's been solid so far.
